Wrong

"Oh my God! I was wrong!"

Byul said softly trying not to startle her girlfriend who was sleeping right beside of her but of course Solar wokes up. She could slept through everything but she would wake up quickly if Byul is not sleeping or just being restless. Like a telepathy of sorts.

"Wae wae? God, you scared me. What are you doing at....."

Solar squinted her eyes to look at the clock on the bedside table.

"Fuck. What are you doing at 3 am in the morning Byul ah."

"I've just read them Yong...The news."

"What news are you reading at 3 freaking am? Did something happend. Is it an earthquake?"

Solar's eyes widened thinking about the worst things happening and if they needed to evacuate their home or something.

"Ani...It's about Davichi unnies."

"What about them?"

"Hae Ri unnie is getting married."

"Good for her.."

Byul shake her head as if something is wrong. She dropped her phone and grabbed a chunk of her hair with both of her hands, looking so distressed it worries the older girl.

"Yong....Yong... You don't understand."

"What is it? Am I missing something?"

"I swear they are fucking each other."

"Of course she is. She is getting married to her lover."

"Not with her lover. She and Minkyung unnie!"

Then Solar realizes what the fuss is about.

"You thought they were together?"

"They looked like us. Well, they look gay or am I wrong?"

"I think you need to fine tune your gay goggles Byul ah."

"They are like us unnie! Minkyung unnie keeps on visiting Haeri unnie. They go on vacations together. They are always together...Wae...Waee ...."

Byul burst out in tears.

"Byul ahh...Don't cry. Why are you crying in the first place."

"I ship them."

She looks funny crying for some ship she made up but seeing how genuine her tears were, Solar tries to calm her girlfriend down.

"Gosh..."

Solar wrap Byul's whole body close to her own and lay both of them on the bed again, stroking Byul's hair gently. Calming the crying girl's down.

"It's not meant to be Byul ah. Not everyone is gay in this world."

"I saw her Yong. I saw how Minkyung unnie looks at her. She looks like..."

"Like what?"

"Like how I look at you."

Byul sob harder. Hiccupping a few times  before continuing. Talking, mumbling her word through small space between Solar's neck.

"She looks sad the last time we met. Like her whole world was ripped apart from her."

"You don't know that. Maybe she has other worries."

"But, she looks like me when....When I watch you with Eric."

"WGM again?"

"You know I hate that show."

"I know baby. Let me look at you."

Byul raised her head, looking at Solar with glistening eyes. Her eyes still teary. Tears stream down like a waterfall. Her tears just won't stop running.

"It's fine Byulyi. Gwenchana. Minkyung will find some other girl. The right girl for her in the future. You don't need to worry so much. People will have their whole life sorted out sooner or later."

"I guess....I keep putting myself in her place. Like, what if you get married like her. Leaving me behind all alone. If I didn't confess we would never get together right?"

"That's what's bugging you?"

"Kinda."

Solar smile, leaving gentle kisses on her girlfriend's face. Starting from her forehead, both plump cheeks, nose and finally her kissable lips. Leaving the younger girl chasing her lips for more.

"I love you. Now and forever. I'm devoted to you. If you didn't confess I would just smack your head and confess instead. Stop thinking about what if please. You will just causing unnessesary worries. What should I do to make you feel better?"

"Kiss me more..."

"Here?"

Solar kissed Byuls eyelashes, smirking teasingly.

"Anii!"

"Here then?"

Solar proceeds to annoy the younger girl more by  kissing Byul's cheeks again.

"Noooooo!"

She then kissed Byul's neck. Giving a raspberry blow, tickling her girlfriend.

"Yahhh noo. That's ticklish."

Biting the skin there hard, the younger girl let out a loud yelps. Solar laughed at her reaction but then finally kissed Byul hard on her pouty lips.

Tongue dancing with one another, conveying her love to the younger girl.

"You alright now?"

"Yeah. Thanks Yong."

"Anything for you. Now, sleep."

"Mhmm..."

Solar closes her eyes with Byul resting on her chest breathing slowly signalling that she has fallen asleep.

"Yong, do you think Mirani and Seori would make a cute couple?"

"Yahh! Stop being a matchmaker and just sleep. You being a cupid for the whole entertainment industry might cause me grey hair before time."

"I think you would look hot with grey hair."

"Aigooo..."

Byul looked at Solar with her wide puppy eyes, lips jutted in a cute pout. That cute pout tugs on Solar's heart and she really needs to sleep right now.

"Fine! They do look cute together."

"Yesss!"

"Now sleep. All of these cupid things please save it till tomorrow or later today since it's already 4 am."

"Sorry for waking you up baby."

"It's fine.Sleep now."

Solar kissed Byul's forehead and pushed her head closer to her chest while humming a soft lullaby. Hoping the younger girl would fall asleep sooner than later.

Finally, Byul's breathing slows down and Solar smiles. She could feel soft puff of air coming out of Byul's half opened mouth, letting her know that her girlfriend is really asleep.

Byul loved thinking too much about anything and everything all at once. Both of them are similar like that.

Her girlfriend is just too pure for this world and she would do anything to protect her soft heart.

Maybe these things between Seori and Mirani might come true and at least she could divert her feelings away from her previous broken ship.
