My yongsun is a big baby. The babiest of baby. With us that is.

Of course she is. She is the youngest Kim.

When she said she wanted to be an idol, her appa opposed. They fought with each other on the daily basis. She was on the path to become a stewardess at that time so I understood why her appa hated it so much.

A clear work path but Yongsun, she had always chosen the road least walked by.

She doesn't often follow the norm. I've always know that. She will ask permission about something but if she sets her mind to one thing, she will do everything in her power to reach her goal. A very very goal oriented girl.

I'm fine with everything she do as long as she is happy.

Her happiness. I really love seeing her happiness shown on her face. When that girl is happy, she really couldn't hide her smile. Her cheeks plump with the widest toothy smile. Cheeks becoming round mochi.

The first time she smiles so wide was when we go to the beach. Somehow, that girl loves to be in the water. It just makes her happy.

"Eomma eommaaaa!"

Yongsun yells, calling for me while jumping in the water. The water was only above her ankles but the coldness of the waves makes her smile wide. She was having the best time of her life.

I love seeing her like that.

It has been so long since that big smile. Maybe I saw it here and there but somehow it doesn't feel full. The happiness is not there yet.

And then Byulyi came.

It's like watching her play on the sandy beach all over again.

She smiles so wide. So wide like her smile would break her face.

And she smiles like that only when she is with Moonbyul. She smiles like that when Moonbyul crack uncanny jokes. When she was teased constantly. Even when she was annoyed by the younger girl. Pretending to be annoyed that is. To keep a facade.

Moonbyul is how do I say. She is a constant figure in the Kim household. She is like another daughter to me hence the nickname Kim Byulyi. Both of them are so attached to the hip that it's weird when only one is present at one time.

That kid knows how to talk with people and she is very genuine with her action. She is very direct at showing affection.

I could see Moonbyul is someone who put her heart on her sleeves.

Contrary to my Yongsun.

When it comes to love and affection, Yonghee shows love by words and hugs and other affectionate action but my Yongsun, she doesn't show how she loves that often. Not with words. She shows them by buying us presents. More by direct action.

That girl guards her heart in shackles. Multiple layes of steel shackles. People keep on trying to approach her but I don't know if she is dense or already has someone in her life. She keeps on rejecting everyone.

One of the reasons I've always thought my Yongsun is not single for the longest time.

The only guy I know she dated was back during school years but it was only for 2 months. She dated like she needed to not that she loves the other person. So what is love in my Yongsun's eyes?

Yongsun is always busy her whole career. Away from any personal life. No dating news on sight. Being on holiday with her sister or at home with us or being with Moonbyul.

I was a bit weirded out at first by that. Why do you spend so much time together? How good of a friend are you and then I think again. Is it more? Is it love?
