One after another, push-up after push-up I feel my body straining even more than it already was. I could feel the burning feeling in my arms, the good kind. Maybe mother would finally be proud. Maybe she'd actually love me. The second I hit my fiftieth push-up, my body collapsed. Ow ow ow. Toe cramp! Aghhhh!

I just lay on the floor, with Rocco coming over and sniffing my face to make sure I was ok. "I'm ok buddy. I'm fine. Oohhhh that hurt. But it was worth it in the long run. Now, the fancy weird Russian things." I pick up the homemade weight and get ready to do those Russian twisty thing.

After fifty of those, I fall back down on the floor. My flabs are on fire. And my deltoids. It's gonna be so worth it though. Then I could actually look good. And mother could actually be proud of me. I stretch, trying to relax the muscles I used before Rocco started licking my face. "I'm alright buddy. Just gotta get in shape for soccer. And whatever I'm gonna do for the marvel people." He wines but gets up nonetheless walking towards the door.

I make sure mom isn't around here before sneaking him outside to go on a run. "Are you ready buddy? I gotta get my shoes on." He starts waggling his whole body in excitement because he loves to go on runs. I slip my shoes on and we quickly make our way on the walk.

I make a mental conclusion on where we would run to, deciding on the park near the lake, since that is a solid couple miles. Plus it would be amazing letting Rocco run in the water. Even if it's only 68 degrees. We pass multiple people and dogs out on our run before pulling up to the park. "Okay buddy. Go play in the water." He quickly runs off, going straight to the water and chasing some fish around.

While he was having the time of his life, I saw Presley and her friends walk up towards me. "Aw what the fuck. It's my time to go now." I stood up, grabbing his harness and whistling for him to come back. He does so without any hesitation, shaking the water off and letting me put the harness on. "Maddie! Where'd you think you're going huh?" Presley calls out. "Ok. Let's go buddy. Hurry up." I started running away, trying not to get involved in any fight today.

I heard their screams behind me as Rocco and I run home. I could tell mom was home by the lights now being turned on, so that would mean my safest bet would be going through the back door. We snuck in, immediately feeling something off. There was some laughter coming from the kitchen, it was generally clean in here, and it didn't smell like a sex club. No man whores around either.

Being as silent as I could, I took off my shoes and slowly creeped around to the kitchen, Rocco staying right by my side. The people didn't notice that I was here, which caused me to smile in appreciation. As I was walking up the stairs, it gave the loudest creak possible alerting them to my spot. "Maddie, is that you?" My mother called. "Yea." "Well come here. There's something I need to talk to you about." She said. "Well, can I go change from this sweaty shirt please?" I said trying to gross her out. "That's not proper Maddison. Go get changed and freshen up a bit." Gee thanks mom. But good thing the excuse worked I thought.

Rocco was semi-dry now, and really tired. I changed into a tank top and different shorts, quickly putting on deodorant because I don't have time to properly shower. I gave Rocco a kiss before leaving to go downstairs.

When I turn around the corner to the kitchen, I see mom and a bald man sitting there. Oh my gosh. It's Kevin Feige. "So you must be Maddie." He says looking me over. "Yes sir. T-thats me." Wow. Wow. Wow. It's THE Kevin Feige. "I was just discussing with your mother the terms and conditions of you being excepted to play Alex." I sit down at the table nodding, my brain trying to register what he said. "Wait so I got the part?" I asked with tears in my eyes. "You did. I was coming here to see if you'd be capable, since you happened to be at the top of the list." He said.
