Willow's POV
I wake up the next morning and get my clothes i left beside my bed, but they were gone."Oh here Willow!" I turn round to see Jack with a outfit folded neatly in his hands, the clothes look expensive and fashionable nothing a newsie would be seen wearing,"Medea gotcha em" Jack says with a grin."Medda..?" I say confused,"Oh yeah I told er all bout ya she gave you es in hope ta meet ya soon!" Jack said handing me the clothes "But..I couldn't-" I say before he cuts me off "Thank er latar! Go try em on!"He say smiling. You smile and go rush to put them on they were a brown (sorta like a tennis skirt but old material) (with a long sleeved shirt that had baggy arms with ruffles of the sleeves, a brown sweater vest for over top of my shirt, a brown beret) (with black Mary-Jane flat shoes). I walk out to go meet Mush after I got ready but I realised everyone was standing around waiting to see me in my new outfit, I felt so embarrassed, when I walked out everyone complemented me I was surprised no one was making jokes and being sarcastic. I thanked them for their complements and went straight over to Mush who smiled and look me up and down."You suit the beret" He says with a smile "Thanks!" I say returning the smile he gave."Let's go get papes en aye!" He says while putting his hand on my shoulder, we walk down stairs talking to one another when he stop and gives a death stare to someone infront of us, I look to see who when I saw Spot standing in the door way leaning on the door frame "Nice outfit princess, is it new?" He says with a smirk. "Yeah it is..actually..." I say back trying to walk out of the door "Hey..uh..wanna come over Brooklyn sometime today?" He says looking blankly at me, "Uh..I don't know.." I said looking back at mush. "Come on it'll be fun I swear.." He says with a nice smile, "Um ok I guess so what time?" I replied I didn't really want to go I didn't like spot I don't feel good when around him, not like the way I do when I'm with Mush, Mush made me feel safe and happy but Spot was just so unpredictable."wha bout 6 o'clock?" He says with a half smile, "See ya then" I say back walking out of the door. Mush walks out close behind me "What da hell was dat Willow..." He says loudly walking beside me now,"What do you mean Mush?" I say looking at him, I can see him stutter and find the words to say ,"I-...I just...b-but he was a snob to ya!" Was all Mush managed to get out."I know but he just wants a second chance..." I say "Why does he like ya or sum?" He shoots back "Mush come on he just wants to be friends!" I say getting fed up, "Yeah sure..'friends' I don't believe it" He says annoyed,"Well Mush it doesn't matter what he wants to be cause I only want to be friends with him alright?" I say trying to reassure him."I don't care...be his goirl..w-why would...I ...mind..." He says I could tell he was hurt by how Spot is interested in me all of a sudden "I'm not gonna be his goirl alright" I said but I don't like Spot I like Mush and well I hope he likes me, He held my hand he has to like me, but why wouldn't he of said anything by now I ask myself. Mush got our papes while I waited outside he didn't want me to run into the Delancy Brothers again "Here 80 papes" He says while handing me them,"Thanks mush, where we selling" I say with a smile,"Wherever..." He says with annoyed look on his face "Oh umm how about-" Was all I could get out ,"Yano why don't ya go sell wit Spot aye?" He says with anger in his tone."Mush seriously I don't like Spot now quit it!" I say annoyed,"Yeah den why ya meeting him at Brooklyn aye?"Mush says  "Cause he asked me to and I didn't want to be rude, alright"I shot back at him"Yeah well he was rude to ya in da first place!" He says, and he had a point."Look I don't wanna be on bad terms with anyone Mush beside what do you think is gonna happen anyway?" I say angerly,"Well..I- it's just Spots sly alright an he used to always gettin es way, that's all.." He says looking at me."Mush..I can promise you nothing gonna happen I won't let it, Why do you care anyway" I said in hope he would confess if he had any feelings for me,"I don't care..why would I anyway..." He said giving me a weird look as he walked away.
