Chapter 21

Everyone is getting ready for bed and after the feast I had today I felt a lot better and could stand,"Hey sunshine, I'll be back alright!" Mush says grabbing me by the waist from behind while he gave me a quick kiss on the cheek "Where you going?" I reply giggling "Oh just a little thing I forgot to do today" He says while grabbing his blazer coat and a scarf "Oh alright!" I reply smiling. I got changed into my pyjamas and layed in bed waiting for Mush to return

Mush's POV

I know I shouldn't of let Spot get to my head but I did, I couldn't stop thinking about what he said and I wanted to get her something to always have to remind her of me. I went up to her as everyone was getting ready for bed and told her I had to do something I forgot to do today, I walked out of the lodging house and quickly went to the best toy shop I knew in hope it hadn't closed yet. When I saw the open sign I walked through the doors,"Hey I'm looking for a teddy bear" I began to say "We have some in the back, over here kid" He said as he stood infront of a wall full of teddy bears, I looked at every teddy bear on the wall none of them reminded me of either of us. "You got any more?" I say giving him a hopeless smile " Well I suppose we do have two more in the back" He replied walking into a small room and carrying out a small box "These teddy bears where from a couple of years ago these last two didn't sell.." He said reaching out two different small teddy bears. One was a dark brown that had lots of soft fluff on it and the ends of the fur where a ice white colour with light brown bow tie, and the other one was a light pink colour with a pink nose and a bow around one of its ear. "Well which one ya want boy?" The man snarled impatiently "I'll take the brown one!" I replied, I saw me in the brown one and when she saw it I wanted it to remind her of me, "That would be... 10 dollars" He said I handed all of my money which was all different types of coins that just about added up to 10 dollars "Enjoy!" The man replied while I walked out of the store. When I got back to the lodging house everyone was asleep accept from Willow who was laying waiting for my return, I decided to hide the bear and give it to her tomorrow.

Willow's POV

I heard footsteps enter the lodging house just before Kloppman did the night check "Mush your back!" I say quietly while giving him a smile. "Hey!" He replied while taking off his shirt and climbing into bed beside me, I hugged home tight and we held each other all night long. When I woke up the next morning Mush was already out of bed I wondered where he was but didn't think too much about it, I stepped out of the showers after I got changed everyone was already away to get their papes,"Heya sunshine I got a present for you" I heard Mush say I turned around to see him holding something behind his back "What?.." I say giggling playfully "Close ya eyes" He says smiling ear to ear. When he said for me too open them I saw the cutest teddy bear I've ever seen, I smiled and gave it a tight hug until I remove red what happened yesterday "Why's you get me this?" I say questioning him "Well...cause I love ya" He replied "Mush, this looks expensive" I reply looking down at the teddy bear "It was 10 dollars" He replied in a cocky way grinning "Mush tell me you didn't waste all your money on this" I say "What you don't like it?" He replied worried "I do it's just.." I replied before he cut me off "Oh so your ungrateful" He replied with a hint of anger in his tone "Mush it's just you shouldn't of spent money on a teddy bear you need to eat, you need to buy newspapers...there's better things to waste your stupid money on" I reply "Yeah but it's for ya..." He replied I could tell his feelings were hurt "I know and I love it but you shouldn't have spent all your money on me" I say looking into his eyes but he looked away "Oh but it's alright when Spot gives ya a teddy bear" He replied angry. He did have me there I mean it's just with Mush I didn't want him to think that in order for me to like him he needed to spend lots of money on me like Spot did,"Mush you don't need to be like Spot ok, I love you for you." I replied looking deeply into his eyes with a small smile "But Spot just seemed as though he cared more den I did about when ya woke up" He replied "I just wanted to show ya that I care bout ya, even if I don't always show it" He added waking towards me to give me a nice tight hug.
