In his eyes I find peace

The Audition

Y/N POV:
I found my way to the locket rooms as went in. The locker room was a decent size, it held a few showers and a few bathroom stales. It had a few long rows of lockers and some benches lining the center. I didn't see anyone in the first two rows. All the girls had congregated around the third and fourth row. they were all chatting and changing. i didn't really feel comfortable changing in front of everyone especially since my skin was laced with scars and light bruises. Before anyone could notice me i slipped into the nearest bathroom stall. These stalls weren't like the usual school ones. the walls and doors hung low almost kissing the floor. It was great for girls like me who wanted to be hidden while they changed. They were also surprisingly clean. I set my bags down on the floor and began changing quickly as I heard footsteps leaving the bathroom in a hurry.

A little time jump

i rushed out of the locker room doors and was greeted by a girl handing out slips of papers with numbers on it and paper clips.

She handed me one and smiled.

I looked down at the paper the number that was printed on it was 19.

I took the paper clip to the paper poking a small hole then sticking it into my leotard.

I went a joined the crowd of girls but, i didn't talk. i just watched them and the floor.

After standing there for a minute i decided to go stretch.

I picked a place far enough off from the girls gossiping and plopped down on the floor.

Before I began my regular stretch routine i peered around the gym just to make sure nobody had eyes on me to watch and judge.

Nobody on the floor was watching and the coaches seemed to be busy swapping around papers.

That's when i moved my eyes to the bleachers. That's when i saw him. He had his eyes directly on me as if he was watching every move i made.

was he stalking me or something.

I got up from my position on the floor and walked back into the crowd trying to hide from his blazing gaze.
