Dee's POV
I wanted to get to school early today so, I told dad heavy and I were going to go get a donut and coffee.
G: Do you need money Dee?
Dee: No I'm good dad
Heavy looked at me confused his mouth filled with a bagel dad he made him
D: come in heavy let's go
H: ok Dee!
With that Heavy and I were out of the house.
We walked the normal way to school and passed right by the coffee shop
H: Hey Dee you said we were getting coffee and a donut!
Heavy whined behind me.
D: *Long aggravated sigh.* heavy I said that so we could leave early.
H: but why would you want to leave early?
D: I uh...I..  no reason.
I began waking but heavy still protested by the door of the shop.
H: why Dee I could've finished my breakfast but no you had to leave early!
D: heavy just come on.
I turned back around and began walking hearing his heavy footsteps behind mine.
We reached the school and to my surprise there were some kids there already.
I wanted to get by them before they crowded the doors so I lifted my head in the air and walked right through them to the door.
I took my position and scrolled through my phone.

She gets here early so this might be my chance to talk to her.
The minutes passed as heavy blabber on about some game he played last night. I shook my head and said few words to him making it seem like I was listening to him.
(Inner dialogue)
There she is, she's cutting it pretty close to when school starts. Hm. Maybe she lives further away than I thought.
Heavy was still talking when she started to approach so I have him a silencing look and focused my gaze on her.
She saw heavy and and I and stared for a second before moving past us.
This is my chance.
"Hey y/n wait up!"
I called to her leaving heavy behind. On the steps.
