Y/N POV
I rushed out of the school and began walking towards my house.
Father is going to be so proud of me
I felt my heart leap at that thought and a smile stretch across my face. All those years of continuous practice has finally paid off.
I began my pace pick up when I saw the house but I knew I had to calm down before I reached the door.
I slowed my pace down and took a few deep breathes as I redirected my gaze to the ground.
I finally reached the steps leading to the house and the front door. I opened the door and no surprise father was waiting for me.
He approached me with a wobble in his step. He smelled heavily of alcohol and with that my good mood was killed.
"How did the audition go brat."
He stumbled over his words with a drunken slur.
"Good father...i-i-i was named team captain."
I felt myself get nervous.
"You address me as sir punk."
And with that I got a slap in the face.
I tried not to wince in pain but failed. My fave curled up and tears began to stack on my waterline.
"But father I mean sir I did well. I was at the top and I didn't fumble or miss a step."
I tried to choke out.
"Dont talk back at me!"
With that a kick was landed on my back. I squealed in pain causing him to place more kicks against my back.
"STAND UP NOW!"
I could barely stand but I knew if I didn't i'd get beaten more.
I stood to my feet with tears falling down my face and screams of pain being trapped in my throat.
"Stick your arms out."
I hesitated
"NOW!"
With that I stuck my arms out as he pulled the ruler put of his pocket and began hitting them.
Small cuts began to form on both arms and blood spilling from them.
He walked at me a few more times before stopping and leaning down to my face.
"Dont ever talk back to me ever again. Do you understand."
I nodded
"I SAID DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME"
"Y-yes sir."
"Good. Now take your bags and go upstairs. No dinner for you tonight."
He walked over slipping over himself.
The second he turned the corner I ran upstairs to my room.
I closed the door behind me locking it and I let the tears fall from my eyes.
I couldn't get any breathes in my back hurt to much.
Every sharp breathe was just another stab of pain.
I ended up on the floor curled into a ball. I cried and didn't move for hours.
