Luke's point of view-
We all walked to the elevator together.
Amber was walking in front of us. She wasn't walking close to us. It was like she's trying to keep her distance.
I wonder why...
Did he call her?
Flashback:
"You want me to do what?" I can't believe what I'm hearing.
"I want you to interact with her. I want you to act like you hate her then later on I want you to act like you like her." I heard my uncle say.
"So you want me to hate her then fall in love with her?" I was so confused.
"Yes. Yes that's exactly what I want you to do."
"But why?" I asked.
"Because Luke. Her parents were the ones who ruined our family. Your family. Killed your parents."
Killed my parents?
"But what's the point of falling in love with her?" I was so confused.
"Oh Luke. You are a dumb child. You see she thinks her parents are dead. But actually they're really alive. Right now I have her sister. Used to have her Uncle until he escaped. But that doesn't matter. And with these people in my hands I want to play with her mind. I want to test her. I want to play with her and make her suffer. I want revenge for what her parents did to us. They ruined us. They ruined everything." My uncle was furious.
"If you want revenge so bad, why don't you just kill her parents?" I asked.
"Because Luke. Its not going to be that simple. I want her and her family to suffer. I want her to feel what we felt. Go through what we went through." Des started to pace around.
I was quiet. I didn't know what to say.
"So doing this isn't going to be easy. To help you, I found your friends." He gestured one of his men.
His men brought in 5 familiar faces. Faces I haven't seen in over 3 years.
I was in shocked.
"How did you-" I started but got cut off.
"They'll help you Luke. They agreed to go with what's planned." Des said.
I was so shocked. My old friends are right there in front of me.
Ashton. Micheal. Calum. Ally. Alexis.
"Good to see you Luke." Ashton said.
I was silent for awhile.
"Why are you guys participating in this? What's in it for you?" I questioned.
"Don't you remember our parents worked together. Now they're dead because of that girls family. Her family ruined everything...Her parents broke us apart." Ashton said.
"Yeah but-" I got cut off again.
"Shut up both of you. So Luke you in or not?"
"Rember they ruined us." Des said.
All the things going in my mind.
'They ruined your family Luke'
'They killed your parents.'
'Its their fault everything is gone.'
Those words kept repeating over and over in my head. And before I knew it. I opened my mouth.
"I- I'm in."
