Amber's point of view~
"Oh my god." I was speechless.
"Hi Amber." The person said.
"Uncle B-brent" I didn't know how to react.
"What are you doing here? I thought you were dea-" I got cut off.
"Let's go talk somewhere. There's stuff you need to know." He said.
We sat at a coffee shop a block away from the alley.
"Uncle Brent. I thought you died. What are you doing here? How are you even alive?" I asked.
"Amber I never died." He said. I thought about it for a second. What? I'm so confused.
"But you were there with my parents when they died. Didn't he kill you too? I asked.
My uncle, Brent, was like my parents. He was an undercover.
When my parents died. My uncle was with them too and apparently they"killed" all three of them. But why is my uncle here now. He's supposed to be dead. I thought about it for a second then my eyes widened.
"Wait wait. If you're alive. does that mean my parents are alive?" I asked.
"No. Your parents are dead. Look Amber I don't have time to tell you everything. I will explain later, But as if right now, I know you're working for him. Don't do a thing he tells you to do. Even if you have to do it to save Aria. Don't do it. Its a trap Amber. Trust me he won't do anything to Aria. Don't do what he tells you to." My uncle says. How does he know about that. How does he know that Audrey and I are doing things. I don't know what to say.
"I dont know what your talking about." I lied.
"Amber. I don't have time. I'm warning you be careful. And be careful of the people around you. Don't trust everyone.Read this when you're with Audrey." He said handing me an envelope.
"I'm running out of time. I have to go. I'll see you soon Amber. Stay safe. " He said looking around to see if anyone is around. Then he left.
What even is going on My uncle just appeared out of nowhere. Then told me he was never dead, when he's supposed to be. What's happening?
Maybe I should go home now. I folded the envelope and shoved it in my pocket. I started to walk back to my dorm. I'm scared and confused. How does my uncle know about me and Audrey doing things for Des. How is he alive.
I had all these questions in my head. But then I heard something.
I heard soft footsteps behind me.
I started walking faster.
The footsteps got louder as I walked faster.
I immediately stopped. And turned around.
No one.
Is someone following me?
It was starting to get dark out too.
I started walking again. My dorm wasn't that far away.
I started walking faster.
Footsteps. I hear soft footsteps again.
This time I didn't know what to do so I ran. As fast I can.
The person started to run.
Someone was chasing me. I didn't look back I just kept running.
I didn't know what to do so I ran into the Starbucks, close to our dorm. I ran inside and hid in the bathroom.
What is going on.
I waited in the bathroom for a long time until getting out. I checked to see if I see anyone suspicious. When it was clear, I ran back to my dorm. I went in and pressed the elevator button. But it wouldn't open.
So I looked out the glass door and saw a figure in a black hoodie. Standing outside the door. I screamed and pressed the button trying to get the elevator doors to open faster.
Then the elevator opened and I got in.
I went up to my dorm as fast as I can.
I was shaking at this point. Tears running down my face. My heart was beating so fast. I felt like i was going to pass out.
I opened the door to my dorm, quickly shutting it. I turned around seeing Audrey laughing and the guys were there, laughing too. Alexis and Ally was also there. Then they all stopped and looked at me.
