This one's half the length of my usual chapters for this story, sorry if that bothers anyone! I just didn't know how to make this one longer cause this was all this chapter was supposed to be about

The whole time Chongyun had been sorting out his plan, Xingqiu had been packing away his things for hours before he made the collective decision to take a nice stroll about Liyue Harbor before getting back to work.
"Perhaps I'll bump into Chongyun." He smiled to himself as he opened his front door to find none other than the young exorcist himself waiting on his front doorstep mumbling something about Xiangling and the Traveler.
At the noise, he jumped and looked up, lips parting to say something but then closed to wait for the other to initiate conversation.
"Oh, Chongyun. I was just thinking of you, heh, and here you are. Guess I won't have to traverse Liyue to find you now! So, what brings you here? I thought you were usually off to train this time of day." Xingqiu asked, swaying from side to side.
"We'll, on ordinary days I am, but today I...", he stopped and waited for his temperature to cool down. "I was wondering if I could accompany you to Mondstadt."
Xingqiu looked surprised at his request. "Why? Don't you have business here to attend to, my liege?"
"Well, not really, I just wanted to come with you because, ehm, there could be evil spirits that I don't know of there! And you're going to the DragonSpine area specifically, right? That place often has numerous sightings!"
He wasn't really lying, he did want to look for spirits whilst he was there, and DragonSpine was a worthy location to look for them. He just couldn't straight out say why he was coming with, so he came up with a lie, one he thought should suffice.
"So you want to come to look for evil spirits?" Xingqiu asked, his face lighting up with a sinister smile. "Because I'm sure Mr. Kreideprinz has an abundance of knowledge on the subject!"
The other shivered, knowing the look on Xingqiu's face always meant nothing good, but dismissed it at the mention that there might be someone who knows the whereabouts of such spirits. When he stopped to think about it, the library could even have stuff about them!
"So, is that a yes? That I can come with you?" Chongyun's brightened.
"Yes, you can accompany me to Mondstadt, and after, DragonSpine. Though when we get to the mountains of snow and frost, I may ask for your jacket. I'm not as well off in the cold as you are my liege." He said smiling, and Chongyun could only imagine what was going on inside his head at that moment.
"Alright, thank you for allowing me to come with. What time are we meeting up tomorrow?"
"Before the sun rises over the waters of Liyue harbor." Xingqiu declared, hands gracefully gripping the doorframe. "Don't forget!"
Chongyun nodded his farewell and left Xingqiu's doorstep to gather his necessities. Tomorrow would mark the beginning of their journey, one that could end beautifully or gallantly horrid.
Back at Xingqiu's house, he closed the door behind him, ran back to his room and sank to the floor in a blushing mess.
"Ugh, was that too obvious? Does he already know? No, he couldn't possibly be that aware. As obvious as I am, Yun-Yun is quite dense... Oh archons, what am I going to do?"
