"Hhhhhhgh." Chongyun sighed loudly as they finally entered their hotel room, tossing his things by the bed and letting his face fall into Xingqiu's lap (Xingqiu for one, not expecting it, was glad his legs were closed).

"Tired, my liege?" He asked, playing with the other's soft hair.

"Mmph."

Xingqiu chuckled at his response and guided the other up to change his clothes in the bathroom before coming back to bed.

Almost immediately, Chongyun was out cold, and he cuddled himself closer to Xingqiu, soft snores escaping his mouth.

Xingqiu's arms were stationary by his side, not moving for fear he would wake the other up.

Slowly but surely though, he wrapped his arms around him and hugged him close, burying his face in his hair.

Chongyun returned the act of contact by snuggling his head against his chest, making every ounce of composure Xingqiu had left completely disappear, and he allowed himself to make a noise that could only be described as "Oh my gosh that was the cutest thing and he wasn't even awake."

Closing his eyes and covering his red face in the other's hair, he fell asleep thinking about tomorrow.

"Now I've simply got to confess to him. I don't know how much longer I can take this..."

The next morning, Chongyun and Xingqiu shared a meal at Good Hunters (Xingqiu insisted on feeding the other since he still looked sleepy, but Chongyun only politely refused with a flustered response.)

They bid each other adeu at the entrance to Mondstadt, and Xingqiu headed off to DragonSpine, leaving Chongyun to try and figure out what to do next.

"Huh, a gift for Xingqiu... aside from books, I'm not really sure what-"

Chongyun was cut short in his ramblings but bumping into someone, both of them falling the the ground.

"Oh man, I am so so sorry! Are you alright?" The stranger asked, reaching out a hand.

Chongyun nodded and picked himself up, dusting off his pants and studying the other person.

It was a boy around his age, with messy, short white hair tucking in place by a pair of goggles. His bright, green eyes looked at him apologetically as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"I'm Bennett, by the way. I've got really bad luck, but it's been pretty good today. Or at least, as good as it can be..." Bennett spoke, mumbling the last part.

"I'm Chongyun. Do you know if your bad luck is caused by evil spirits or demons, by any chance?" Chongyun asked hurriedly, disregarding everything else.

"Uh, no? I've had it since birth, never really knew why." Bennett explained.

"Oh. N-nevermind then. I just ask because I'm an exorcist from Liyue, but because of my condition I've never seen a ghost or evil spirit before. I just thought that maybe your bad luck was the cause of one and I could help vanquish it. But seeing that your bad luck seems to have caused our falling, I don't think that's the case."

"That's alright, thank you for trying though!" Bennett grinned.

"Anyways, what are you doing here in Mondstadt? You said you were from Liyue, so I'm kinda curious."

Chongyun instantly remembered why he was here in Mondstadt in the first place instead of DragonSpine.

"I'm here with my friend Xingqiu because he's talking to a man named Albedo about a book he's writing. I stayed back today though because I need to get him a gift." Chongyun filled in.

"That's cool! How come? Is it his birthday soon?" Bennett asked, the two starting to walk around.

"Actually... I'm getting him a gift to ask him out on a date." Chongyun mumbled, Bennett staring at him in surprise.

"S-sorry, if that's weird for you." Chongyun quickly apologized.

"Why would I think that's weird? I'm cool with it! Anyways, what were you planning on getting him?" Bennett moved on.

"That's the thing. I'm not sure. Traveler said to mention their name if I wasn't sure who to ask for help. Do you know them?"

"Heck yeah! The Traveler is awesome! And, if you want, I can help you out! Here-"

Bennett pulled Chongyun aside and showed him a map with all sorts of marks and drawings on it and pointed to an area marked "Starsnatch Cliff".

"There are these goooorgeous flowers that grow over here on Starsnatch Cliff. The only shop here in Mondstadt is sold out of 'em, so we'd have to go there. We can go pick some for him, then come back and wrap them up in a bouquet! How 'bout that?" Bennett suggested.

"That sounds like a good idea. Could you bring me there?"

"Of course!"

"Alright, here we are!"

Bennett gestured to the wide, green cliff in front of them and pointed out areas where Cecelia's typically grew.

On their trip, Bennett had managed to prove just how troublesome his bad luck was, and by the time they had made it up, he was covered in bruises and a bloody nose.

"Last time I had a bloody noise was because of Xingqiu singing for me." Chongyun thought to himself before shuddering at the memory.

"Let's spilt up and start searching, yeah?" Bennett asked, seemingly unaffected by his condition.

Chongyun agreed and the two split up to start looking for the Cecilias.

Little did they know, there weren't any.

Bennett blamed his bad luck for the turnout of zero flowers, but Chongyun tried to reassure him that it wasn't that big of a deal.

Right before they descended, Chongyun lightly searched the edge of the cliff, staring out at the water and facing the wind.

He felt leaves tickle his leg, and he turned to stare wide-eyes at a beautiful, small, white flower bumping against him.

He carefully picked it from the earth and held it firmly in his grasp before bringing it down to show Bennett.

"Sorry you only found one, and that it's a really small one. Though I guess it's pretty lucky that you found one at all, huh?" Bennett chuckled.

"Yes. This is actually better for what I had planned. Thank you Bennett."

"Aww, no problem! Anything to help! So, when are you two going on a date?" Bennett asked on their way back to Mondstadt.

"Oh. I actually haven't asked him yet." Chongyun said quietly.

"Hmm." Bennett hummed in response.

"I'll figure it out though, you've done enough to help me."

"No no, you've kept me company all day and never ran away once! Most people can't last a few hours with me." Bennett said sadly.

"I'm guessing your bad luck drives them away?"

"Yeah."

"Sorry about that."

"Nah, don't be sorry. I'm used to it, and if I didn't have it, I may never have met you, or traveler, or my dads, or any of my other friends! And, we might not even have that Cecilia." Bennett grinned.

"I think you're right." Chongyun replied, looking down at the flower.

"That is pretty lucky after all."
