"Hitoshi-kun..."

Izuku looked up to see the very person he did not want to see—

"I-Izuku, what is this...?" Shinsou inquired, looking dumbstruck.

"D-don't tell anyone... don't tell anyone, please!" Izuku begged, scrambling to his feet.

Shinsou backed away slowly.

"N-no... you're a villain... you- you murdered someone!"

"Hitoshi-kun, it's not what it looks like-"

"NO!"

Shinsou took off down the street. Izuku chased after him.

He caught up and grabbed Shinsou by the hood of his hoodie.

"GAH!" Shinsou choked, falling backwards onto Izuku.

Izuku caught him and sedated him.

"I'm sorry, Hitoshi..." Izuku said softly, picking him up and carrying him to the base.

"So... let me get this straight. You and Toga went out to kill some people, and you ran into this dude?" asked Tomura, gesturing towards Shinsou.

"Yeah," Izuku answered, while rubbing the back of his neck.

"But we can see if he would like to join," Izuku offered. Tomura pondered this idea.

Shinsou just watched them, terrified. He was still trying to grasp the fact that his best friend, the one he walked to school with, and ate lunch with, was a villain.

A cold-blooded murderer.

Izuku turned to Shinsou. "Hitoshi," he started, "would you like to become a villain?"

"Wh-what's in it for me?" Shinsou asked in response.

"Power," Izuku answered, "power, money, and fame. And you can crush all of the people who ridiculed you because of your quirk."

Shinsou looked up at that idea.

How nice would it be? To get rid of all the people who ridiculed him, and bullied him, some even tortured him...

All of that, because of his quirk. So when he rose as a villain, with that very same quirk, stronger than ever, would they cower in fear?

"I-... I'll join," Shinsou declared.

Izuku looked surprised. That was all it took?

"Re- really, Hitoshi?" Izuku asked, taken aback.

"Ye- yeah. I'll join."

"Welcome to the League of Villains, Hitoshi Shinsou!" Tomura declared.

And that was that.

"Hitoshi-kun! Izuku-kun!"

Todoroki started towards Izuku and Hitoshi. They both waved at him.

"Hey Shoto-kun, we need to tell you something," Shinsou said.

"Alright, spill. What is it?"

"Meet us at ******** street after school."

Todoroki wandered around the street, waiting for his two friends. He saw three figures in the distance, two of which he recognized.

They eventually made it to him.

"Okay, so, what is this about?" Todoroki asked.

"Well... we thought... maybe you should, uh... j-join us," Shinsou started.
