Chapter 32

Ryland's POV~
"Ladies and gentlemen we are now landing in Raleigh North Carolina so please fasten your seat belts while we descend to the runway", I heard over the intercom. I was in the window seat with Rydel next to me in the middle and Riker next to her on the isle.

Rydel put her hand on my shoulder and smiled at me, a weak smile, but she tried. I smiled back at her and hugged her. She looked like she needed it.

We left the plane and looked around for everyone. Well everyone except Kameryn. I sighed at the thought of her. My babygirl. God knows where she is or what's happening her.

I was pulled from my thoughts by the sound of Rydel yelling. I turned around to see Kaitlyn, her mom, Morgan, and the whole Grier family.

The first to hug were Rydel and Kaitlyn. They ran to each other and almost fell on top of one another. Then Ross pried Rydel off of her and squeezed Kaitlyn in a huge hug, rocking her back and forth.
Next I see Riker run full speed to Morgan and pick her up, spinning her in the process. That made me want to cry. That's how I would always hug Kameryn. She was so small I would just pick her up and spin her. It would make her giggle like crazy until she would finally beg me to set her down because she would get dizzy very easily.

I wiped the tear that shed and looked up as someone called my name. "What, No hug?" Kaitlyn and Morgan said at the same time. I must have zoned out for a while because it seemed as though everyone had already greeted each other and I hadn't even said hi to anyone yet.

I smiled weakly and gave Morgan a hug. Once we released I turned to Kaitlyn but didn't make a move to hug her, I just looked at her.

She looks so much like Kameryn, I don't think I've ever noticed. She seemed like she could tell what I was thinking because she frowned and pulled me in for a hug.
"It'll be ok Ry, we'll find her." I breathed in heavily and a familiar scent filled my noise.

I pulled away and said, "you, you smell like Kamy." She looked at the ground and whispered, "we share the same perfume. We-w we shared everything." She got choked up on the last sentence and covered her mouth. Her shoulders started to shake as she stood there, silently letting the tears fall.

I frowned and pulled her into a hug, "shhhhh, Kaitlyn it's ok, she'll be ok". I was telling her things that I needed to believe myself.

I held her in my arms for a couple more minutes until I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see Hayes. He hugged me and said, "I got her bro." I nodded and he took Kaitlyn into his arms and rocked her back and forth, whispering things in her ear.

I made my way over to Liz, she was talking to my parents but when she saw me she smiled. "Ohh Ryland", she said, beckoning me to come give her a hug.

She hugged me so tightly, I think that was all she needed, a hug. Once she finally let go she wiped a tear that I didn't know she shed. "You know Ry, I'm so glad you guys came, I don't think we could do this without you and your family." She looked so scared as she spoke, so much more fragile than the strong woman I met, only months ago.

"Of course, you know Kameryn means the world to me, and my family and I would drop everything and anything for her." She smiled and hugged me again.

Kameryn's POV~

I was still tied up but this time they had me on the floor, the chair broke when Derek hit me so hard, it practically threw me to the floor, breaking the chair in the process.

I have no idea how long it's been. I have no way of knowing anything, there's no windows so I can't tell what time of day it is either. All I know is I'm in so much pain and I want to get out of here.

I hear shouting from... Above me? I guess that means I'm in a basement. Or the first floor of a two story house.

I could barely hear what they were saying but as they yelled louder, I was able to make out a couple things. "What do you mean she's not yours!" "Don't hurt her!"
Then I just heard a lot of shuffling, and the door opened.

I looked down and waited to be hit but it never came. My dad knelt down I front of me. He didn't look as mad as he normally does. he was just emotionless.

"Get up", he said coldly. I scurried to get up and Derek grabbed my arm, dragging me through the door, only for me to actually see light.

I was in what seemed to be a nice house. It was nicely decorated and pretty clean. Who's house is this? I doubt Derek or my dad would have a house like this. Where am I?
There was a man who looked a little younger than my dad, or it could just be that he was better groomed. His mouth was duck taped and he was tied to a chair. Who is this guy? I've never met him, if they're out to hurt me, why would they hurt someone I don't know?

The man saw me and tears instantly slipped from his eyes. He struggled harder and harder to get out of the chair.

I went to say something but Derek pushed me and squeezed my arm harder. "Bitch don't speak." I nodded my hair and kept walking to wherever they were leading me.

They shoved me into another room, and shot the door, locking it from the outside.

The last thing I saw before being thrown into the pitch black room was Derek and my Dad walking towards the man. When Derek shoved me in here, I heard my dad begin to yell something, but the second the door closed, it went silent.
They put me in a sound proof room. Why?

So I am totally and officially back baby!
I mean I got my account back a couple weeks ago after MMOONNTHHS of me missing but now I have my account on my iPod so I can update whenever! Before I could only update when I had my sister's computer which isn't often. Sooooooo now we can get back on track and update regularly!
I'm also able to actually edit my profile, so I was able to change that GOD AWFUL profile picture from like 6th grade 😁 buuuttttt I also want to change my user name, what do you guys think about that if you think I should, any ideas?
I may just go back to AlexisRidges ... Idk I just feel like AlexisRidges_R5Lover sounds weird

Also I'm gonna be editing some things in the book so yayyy no more grammar issues 🙌🏼

But yay!  So excited I can update a lot for you guys now!

Then when Amazing Things is done, I can start on my Riker story! Who's excited for that?!?!
