3rd Party POV

It's been seven years since Edmund, Lucy, Eustace, and Y/n left Narnia. Eustace returned to Narnia twice after the Pevensies and Y/n left. Lucy, Edmund, and Y/n did not.

Caspian found himself a queen in the Pevensies absence: Romandu's daughter Lilliandil. Caspian married Lilliandil, and they had a son. Eustace and his dear friend Jill returned to Narnia to search for Caspian's son, Rilian, after Lilliandil was mysteriously killed. Eustace and Jill successfully rescued Rilian, and Eustace was reunited with Caspian in Aslan's country after Caspian had passed. The news of Caspian's passing devastated all of the Kings and Queens of Narnia, Peter and Susan included, but they took comfort in knowing he now lived in Aslan's country with his late father and wife.

Eustace and Jill returned shortly thereafter, and none of them had seen any sign of Narnia since.

The children are older now. Edmund and Y/n are both twenty-six, Lucy is twenty-four, and Eustace is twenty-three. Susan and Peter are twenty-nine and twenty-eight. Much has changed.

Susan has become taken with the flashiness and fashion-forward nature of the modern world. She has grown up very fast. Her mind is focused on the things of this world more so than the rest of them. Susan is still close with the others, but their memories in Narnia together have faded into wistful dreams for her. It breaks the children's hearts to see her letting go of such beautiful times they had together, but she has moved on from Narnia.

Peter is the same. He hasn't married, though he's had a couple serious girlfriends over the years, and he is still Peter the Magnificent. He and Edmund have grown immensely closer in the last few years, and he visits his family often when he isn't working. Lucy visits often as well, and she, Sue, and Y/n are just as close as they were as teenagers. Even Eustace makes an appearance every now and then. The Friends of Narnia all quite close, and their love and remembrance of Narnia is often the topic of discussion when they're all together.

Edmund proposed to Y/n about two years after they returned from Narnia, and she said yes. They married shortly after his proposal, and the two had a small wedding with their closest friends and family in Finchley. Susan and Lucy were two of Y/n's bridesmaids, along with a couple friends from university, and Edmund of course chose Peter to stand beside him. Surprisingly, he asked his cousin to as well. Edmund and Eustace had become a sort of friends since their adventure, though neither one would ever admit to it. Y/n had grown to enjoy Eustace's comedic pessimism over the years, and it helped that he and his cousins had moved on from the pranks and teasing.

Today, Y/n, Eustace, and Lucy are meeting Ed and Peter at a train station to meet with the Professor. Kings Peter and Edmund had a vision of Narnia needing all of the Eight Friends of Narnia: Professor Digory, Jill, Polly, Eustace, Peter, Edmund, Lucy, and Y/n. Whatever the reason, they knew they needed the Professor's help to get back, since he found Narnia first.

"Come on, Lucy!" Y/n called up the stairs of her home, "We need to get to the train station. We've only got a few minutes before it arrives."

"Coming! Coming!" Lucy rushes down the stairs and meets her sister-in-law and cousin Eustace at the door. "Sorry, I was looking for my hat."

"What do you need a hat for?" Eustace asks, "We're going to be on a train."

"I simply like the hat," Lucy says with a smile.

"No worries," Y/n says, "let's get going though. Ed and Peter should be there in the next couple minutes."

The two grab a cab and hasten to the station. Once they arrive, they're met by the Pevensie brothers.

"Hello, ladies," Peter greets the girls as they exit the cab, "and Eustace. Glad to see you finally made it."

"Lucy was looking for her hat," Y/n laughs as she hugs Peter.
