The Award for the best Actor Male, in the OTT drama category goes to:

Siddharth Shukla.

The whole auditorium broke into thunderous applause as the title song of "Behadd" played in the background. Siddharth took a few seconds to comprehend what the hosts had announced and when he finally realized, a huge smile formed on his face. He looked at his side. His mother was beaming at him and that somehow made him smile wider if possible. A few seats away, right beside Nagma Ali, his co-star for "Behadd" sat his Gadhi, quite obviously beaming at him. Nagma congratulated him, smiling at him and he smiled back. Shehnaaz nodded at him, her eyes shining but she kept sitting, even when Nagma stood up from her chair to come up to him, to hug him in a manner of congratulating his achievement.

Siddharth looked at her confused. "Why is she not coming to me?" He thought, only half focussed on the awkward pats and half-hearted wishes that he was receiving from people all around him.

He wanted her to come up to him, congratulate him like she did in every one of his achievements, but she didn't move. He wondered why, but before he could ponder on it for any longer, the host requested him to come on the stage. Siddharth smiled awkwardly, walking up the stage and was greeted by Reitesh Deshmukh and Salman Khan, the latter pulled him into a hug.

"Proud of you, Shukla." Salman sir mumbled, patting his back. Siddharth smiled, nodding. He shook hands with Reitesh and received his trophy.

"Stay right here, Siddharth." Reitesh said softly, "Just for another second."

Siddharth nodded, clutching the trophy in one hand and stepped away from the podium. Salman and Reitesh took the microphone once again.

"Before we let Siddharth make his winning speech, I'd like to announce the winner for The best Actor Female, in the OTT drama category Goes to:

Shehnaaz Kaur Gill.

Siddharth barely contained his desire to jump in happiness as soon as Shehnaaz's name was announced. He felt adrenaline rushing through his whole body and the sudden urge to crush her into his arms threatened to overcome him. He looked up, his hands curled into tight fists, face aching from smiling so damn wide and saw his little munchkin, his baby, his life and his happiness, wide eyed-- almost tearful and not exactly in complete understanding of what was happening around her as she began getting hugged and congratulated.

She blinked twice, thrice. Siddharth watched her from the stage on the huge LED screen, focussed on her and felt his heart skip a beat as realization flooded her face and slowly, almost painfully slowly,  a smile began blooming on her beautiful face. One that could put the world to shame, in terms of its glow and its unmatched beauty. He looked away from the LED and into the Live Audience just as she looked at the stage. Their eyes met and Siddharth nodded, still smiling widely at her.

He didn't need anyone to tell him that he was the one going to the stairs to bring her up to the main stage. Siddharth started walking up to the stairs just as she left the audience. Shehnaaz was shaking slightly as she placed her tiny palm on his outstretched hand. Siddharth held her hand firmly and helped her up the stage. "Congratulations baby." He spoke quietly.

Shehnaaz smiled, walking up to the two award presenters hand in hand with Siddharth. Salman immediately pulled her into a tight hug and Shehnaaz giggled.

"Congratulations Shehnaaz, Ab bhi Punjab ki Katrina ho?" He asked with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

Shehnaaz shook her head, "Ab toh Shehnaaz Kaur Gill hoon, saare India ki." She responded cheerfully.

Salman kissed her forehead, "I'm very proud of you, sweetheart. You've done well. Keep it up!"

Shehnaaz smiled softly, taking the man's hands and pressing them to her forehead in a manner of gratitude.
