CHAPTER IV

Lilith POV

I stare at the paper blankly not knowing how to react.

EIGHT SIBLINGS!!??

SERIOUSLY DAD?

"Lilith"

"Lilith"

"HELLO?"

I hear Kazimir shout waving his hand in front of my face trying to bring me back to reality.

"Earth to Lilith"

"Huh? What" I say tearing my eyes from the paper.

"Where have you been?" He asks "What does it say"

I stare at him for a second I then give him the paper and get up staring at the window.

"Seven?" I hear him from behind.
"But that's good right now you have someone"

"I wanted someone not a whole baseball team for god sake"

"Well technically it's nine players so.....R..right you are right" he stutters noticing the death stare I am giving him.

I pinch the bridge of my nose trying to think of what am I going to do.

'Siblings. how am I supposed to find them I don't know where could they be. And by the way, father said he only knows how many they are which means maybe he has something that can help me a birth certificate maybe'

"Umm....Hella" I hear Kazimir cutting my train of thought.

"What now," I say being annoyed.

"Isn't the number of the names of the women we found in that sheet of paper is seven?" he says lifting the sheet of paper up.

I turn around snatch it from him and scan it again. the paper has seven women's names alongside their age, nationality, and dates that don't match their age.

"And if you didn't notice these dates are in descending order," he tells me the fact.

And it clicked "these aren't random women's names these are mothers names."

"And we can use it to find every single one of them. Right?" He says his conclusion.

"Yes, it gonna take a lot of work but it's better than nothing," I say turning around and going to what used to be my study it's pretty much empty it only has its furniture but none of my stuff. I go to the safe that is behind the picture frame I put my father's last word and the only lead of my siblings and lock it.

"What now?" He says entering my study.

"I am gonna call one of my assassins in the office to get my stuff so I can work from here," I say taking out my phone and dialing the phone number.

"Алло," I say

"Алло" I hear from the other line

[Hello]

"Дема, я хочу, чтобы ты принесла мне все мои вещи в офис"

"Ладно, что-нибудь еще хочешь?"

"Нет"

[Dema, I want you to bring me all my stuff in the office."
"Okay, anything else you want?"
"No"]

I hang up and put my phone back in my pocket.

I find Kazimir in my father's office looking at the picture that is hung on the wall.

"If you think about it. your father fucked all these women just to get you a bunch of siblings" he says looking at my father's picture.

Father took this photo right after he took the throne he was in his thirties I always loved to look at it imagining myself in his place.

"He didn't fuck them for me. He fucked them for his pleasure. It was common for him to have casual affairs. I am just surprised that he didn't use what's called protection"

"you talk about it so casually," he says chuckling

"Why wouldn't I, it's not like I care" I shrug

"you are weird" he chuckles

He walks past me before he leaves the room I grab and push him against the wall trapping him.

"Where do you think you are going?" I say ignoring his protest

"Jesus Lilith" he growls "I am going to my room"

"But I haven't given you the talk," I say

"What talk?" He questions trying to free himself from my hold but I don't budge.

"No one and I mean no one will know about this siblings' thing. Unless I tell you. you know very well that the Volkov bloodline had always been in danger. countless people tried to erase us and one of them succeeded and only one person survived and now there are other eight, think about the consequences. So until I find all eight of them I will be the one and only Volkov. Do you understand me?" He nods as yes then the front door rings. I slowly step back from him and go to answer the door.

I open the door and three large figures come stumbling in crashing down on me.

"GET OFF ME, YOU BASTARDS!" I scream trying to push them off.
