CHAPTER VIII

Lilith POV

"The family haunt"

He looked confused. Then I notice something

I need to get him out of here

I clasp my hands together "as much I owe you an explanation you to do I still don't know your story but now I want you to go back and get all the things you're staying with me" I say trying to push him out

"But-" he tries to protest but I open the door "I know just do what I am saying okay" he nods he gets out and heads to the front door I was closing the door but then I remembered something I shout "hey!"

He looks at me. "What is your name?"
I ask.

He smiles and says "Alexie"

I nod and close the door and I walk to the desk and sit on the chair I grab the phone and bring it to my ear then something comes through the glass and pierces the leather chair making a hole in it

A snipper

A bullet makes a hole in both the glass and the leather chair where my head is supposed to be.
But I saw it coming I notice the reflection from the snipper's magnifying glass from the building next to us. I wanted to speak with my brother more but I can't risk it.
I sat on the chair but I lowered myself so the bullet couldn't reach me.

I let myself fall to the ground and I stand up I move the chair away standing in view showing the snipper he failed but I couldn't see the reflection anymore

he is gone

I knew someone is watching me I first noticed it at the cemetery when I was getting in Kazimir's car and when I was in the security room in the camera that showed the gates it was two figures standing in the shadows. creepy right. that means someone is on me and I gotta figure out who.

And the doors burst open Kazimir standing breathing heavily "I heard a glass shatter what happen" he says out of breath

I was confused at first but then I noticed the broken vase that was on the ground. I was in my world that the bullet hit the vase and broke and I didn't hear it.

"It's a bullet," I say grabbing the handset of the phone.
"What?! who shot it?!" he says looking around the room thinking that the shooter is still here.
"The snipper that was following me from yesterday and was standing in the building next to us," I say grabbing with my free hand my dad's notebook that has all the important numbers I flip the pages and I rest the handset on my shoulder so I can use both hands.

"And when did you consider telling me this interesting information?" He says in a bitchy tone putting his hand on his hip.

I shrug "honestly I wasn't planning on telling you at all"

He gasps in an offended way I just raise my shoulders he just scoffs and leaves but then he turns around and says "Well I wish that bullet didn't miss" I dial the number under the name Rostov one of my father's trusted men.

"It didn't miss me honey I dodged it," I say

A scoff is the last thing I hear from him before Rostov's voice comes inline

"Hello Lilith," he says

"Hello, Rostov," I say reply with a stern voice.

"I knew one day you will call me to give me orders," he says a little softness in his voice.
"Haven't I already done that before?" I say remembering my fights with him when I was a teenager.
"No, back then you were being bossy and a child now you are a queen"
"Not yet but I accept your compliment" I smile "So what's your orders my queen"

"I want you to send the servants to prepare the mansion that is outside town and move sector 6 there to live and protect it. I am moving there too with a friend" I line my orders
"Yes ma'am when do you want to move there"

"I want the place done tonight and I want this house to be closed and guarded until I come to collect my father's belongings" 

"Very well ma'am anything else" he questioned. "No thank you, Rostov," I say hanging up.

I head out looking for Kazimir and I find him in the garden laying on his back on the grass. I grab the spray bottle next to the flower pots and I spray him on the face "wake up snow white"
He glared at me but he tastes the water "oh it's sugary" he says I turn around and throw the spray bottle
"Go to your room and bag your things we are moving," I  tell him as he gets up "when are we moving," he asks

"Tonight"
