Kazimir POV
"You will need rest for a week to make sure not to break the stitches" the doctor informed me packing his tools "you will need some painkillers," he says holding the container of the drugs. "Yes," I say snatching the container. "you will take at least two a day" he declared "absolutely," I say opening it.
Then a knock on the door takes our attention, and two figures come, "good afternoon, miss Lilith" he greets them. Lilith looks at him "Robert" she addresses. Standing tall hands behind her back she is in an olive shirt and black cargo pants. Wearing her jet black hair down slicked back. Alexie nods to the doctor who appears in the same outfit earlier but without his suit jacket. His too jet black hair is combed back.
"Will you excuse me ma'am?" the doctor says having a nod in response from Lilith before exiting the room. She approaches me and the limping on her leg makes me furrow my eyebrows. "You are okay?" She asks and I was a little taken aback by the question because she never bothers herself with things like that. "I've been through worse, you know that" I exclaim. She hummed sitting down on the chair at the end of the bed. "Are you okay, I noticed you're limping," I question. "I am okay it's just that bitch drew a whole canal on my thigh" she curses.
"That's why you're not supposed to be walking" Alexie added, she rolls her eyes. I smile about how they just met each other and already acting like siblings. "Are those painkillers?" she asks pointing at the container in my hand. "Yes," I reply, she extends her hand. "Okay, let me take one first" I answer taking a pill and then throwing the container "oh the doctor said you should take two a da-" I comment but shut after seeing her taking three at once "nevermind" I mumble scratching the back of my neck.
"How did you know it's a she?" Alexie questions. "When I tackled her I just knew she is, her anatomy was feminine her hips, ribcage shape, so I thought it was either a woman or a very small guy" she explains still looking at the ceiling. "And will that help us," I ask. "Of course, now we will have to look for two German assassins that look like it's not the first time they have been working together, and judging by their skills they must be well-known, I have friends I could ask" she answers. We hum in response. Deep in thought.
"So gentlemen, I have some paperwork to go through so will you excuse me," she says getting out of the room without another word. Me and Alexie sat in silence looking at the door where she exited. "Does she always excuse herself like that?" he asks "yeah".

Lilith POV
I walk through the corridors leading to my office. It feels like the location has moved further, the pain in my thigh and stomach hurts so much. And the painkillers I took ain't doing shit. But I don't show it. People think-no-Scratch that- people know I don't feel the pain and that I am somehow immortal which is obviously wrong just because I don't flinch I don't show emotions means I am not capable of feeling pain, however, that's wrong.
Pain is the only thing I have been feeling for the last 30 years even the happiness I felt was replaced with agony and grief. In fact, I don't remember when was the last time I laughed like really laughing and tearing up. And I don't want the same for my siblings. I don't want them to feel pain or anything. No one deserves to feel what I felt.
I push open the door and was welcomed by towers of paper on my desk and floor. "Fuck" I curse. I hate paperwork that is why I became an assassin. And of course, there are a few other things. I look at my watch. It's 12:30 pm okay If I can finish by dinner it will be great. And I dive in I thought about writing my will before I start you know just in case but whatever.

"And done," I say putting the last paper down and diving into my seat from exhaustion. I check my watch 5:10 pm "yes, the new record" I chirped. I revised every paper that contains deals shipments that happened in the past few days and that will happen I did have a couple of things I wanted to take with the underboss I placed the paper together. There is still time till dinner I will just take time to myself to zone off. I sit in the only comfortable chair, Swinging in my chair.
Five minutes pass and then someone bursts throw the door. Alexie comes into view breathing heavily. And I grow anxious.
"Lilith" he sucked in his breath.
"They found one."
