Lilith POV
It's one pm and I am done packing my things from my office I didn't pack anything it was already in the boxes but took some things from my father's office that will help me in looking for my brothers. And I packed a bag of my clothes.
I place them all at the door.
So in total, I have four boxes one bag of clothes, and my laptop.
I go change my clothes and clean up I put on a white turtle neck with black pants and some gold accessories and of course, my gun and I put my hair in a bun using my dagger because I couldn't find any of my hair ties I swear these hair ties have a spell on them or something cause they disappear faster than my patience.
I wait for Kazmir in the living room.
Then I see him going down the stairs in his dark red hoodie and black pants and jacket. judging from his messy hair he was taking a nap.
"You shouldn't have slept we are going on a very long car ride and I am not going to entertain you," I say looking at my phone.
"Who said I am not gonna sleep in the car and I don't want anyone to entertain me thank you very much," he says scoffing
"Aww is honey mad. are you mad at Hellebora" I mock him
He mumbles in response I smirk.
"Oh I didn't tell you Alexei turned to be my brother like you said and I am bringing him with me," I tell him
"Mhm," he hummed in response, he throws himself on the couch next to me. He wraps his arms around me from the side and dives his face into the material of the turtle neck I smile at him and rest my face on his head his fluffy hair tickle my cheek.
We stay silent for a while but not awkward silent rather a comfortable one that's why I like his company I don't have to talk or say anything we can just stay silent and I like our friendship it kinda reminds me of one I lost years ago.
'Athena'
Then I feel taping my shoulder I look at it and it's an umbrella tip and I follow the end of it I see Alexei is the one holding it.
I raise an eyebrow "are you taping me with an umbrella?"
"Well I didn't know whether your reflexes are fight or flight," he says placing the umbrella back on its holder.
"He got a point tho" Kazimir says unwrapping his hands from around me and stretching his temple
"Did you move the luggage?" I say "Yeah and everything is in place we are ready to go" he confirms.
"Very well then," I say "let's go".
I go outside and I can sense them behind me I get in the backseat.
"Shotgun!" Kazimir shouts and gets in the passenger seat.
I make myself comfortable by resting my back on the door and I lay my legs on the backseat leaving room for alexia.
He gets in "Oh do you mind my leg or should I put it down" I
ask I don't want to make him uncomfortable this is our second opportunity to have a conversation last time we had some friends.
"No no it's fine," he says putting my leg on his lap I try to protest but he refuses "Don't bend them you will cramp," he says
'Mhm maybe having a brother isn't a bad thing after all
"If you are fine with it" I reply
The driver slides in "make it a swiftly ride Michael" I say
"Yes ma'am" he nods and starts the car

a couple of hours passed during the ride I have my arms folded across my chest and I have my eyes closed but I am not asleep I am just appreciating the moment of needed silence.
"Psssst"
Nevermind
"Psssssssst"
I slowly open one eye and I see Kazimir looking at me sitting on the seatback to face me
God, he is a child
He gestures with his head towards Alexei and he has his arms folded across his chest too, huh weird he looks like he is sleeping.
Kazimir nudges my head and glares at him "what" I say angrily but in a quiet tone so I won't wake my brother.
"Ask him," he says in the same tone
"About what"
"Oh about the weather. About his story of course"
"I don't want to," I tell 'i don't want to force him to tell me his past. talking about it does bring memories I know that by experience'
"Why?" He whines "Why do you really wanna know his story that much?" I question.
"Because I am curious" he mumbles
"Is it because you're curious or because you are bored?" I say reading my best friend
"Okay maybe I am a little bored but I do wanna know," he says
"Fine fine anything to get you off my head," I say rolling my eyes
I clear my throat "so" I start "Alexie huh" his eyes immediately fly open and looks at me 'someone is a light sleeper I can't blame him I am one
"Like can I call you Alex for short or do you have a nickname" I figure out any nicknames.
"At the base, they call me ice," He says.
"Why ice," I ask "because they say that I am stone-cold," he says.
"Well you are not alone" I admit "you can call me Lil or Lily or you can call me by my middle name"
"What's your middle name?" He asks
"Visha"
