Chapter 25

Rebekah's POV 

"Well..... That was eventful," Emmett said smirking breaking the awkward silence. 

"I hope your hungry girls," Esme said turning her attention back on us.

"You gave us a reason to use the kitchen again," Carlisle responds with a smile on his face. 

"it smells delightful Mr. And Mrs. Cullen, I cannot wait to eat, my sister on the other hand already ate," I mentioned just as the sound of glass shattering was heard. 

"Perfect,lets all pretend this is such a good idea to let two humans into our lives, do you know what would happen if the othervampires would find out?"

"We'd become the next meal," I answered causing the group including Jasper to laugh. 

"THIS ISN'T FUNNY! THEY ARE PUTTING OUR LIVES IN DANGER!"

"Rosalie," Carlisle called in a stern voice causing her to froze. "I do not tolerate disrespect in our coven, learn to respect your brothers mates,"

Rosalie rolled her eyes. 

"Clean this up, now, and dont worry Rebekah, we'll call you when food is ready,"

"Come on lets head upstairs,"   Jasper whispers in my ear as I nodded my head. 

Carlisle's POV 

I sighed as Rosalie was cleaning up her mess. I went over to Esme. 

"What are we to do about Alice?"

"What's wrong with her?"

"Esme, she brought a stranger to our coven and claimed he was her mate, I'm not sure how true that is but I think she is missing Jasper a little too much and picked up a random person,"

"Stop that Carlisle everyone has a mate, I'm sure Paul is Alice's true mate, we will have to accept and add him to the coven,"

"'But he feeds on humans, you saw his eyes,"

"Darling, stop worrying so much. Alice will handle him and teach him how to feed on animals,"

"But what about Rebekah? The way he looked at her, like she was something to eat, Jasper clearl y doesn't want him around her,"

"And he wont go near her my darling, please lets just finish the food for our guest shall we?" She asks while pecking my lips as I sighed and left it alone. 

Rebekah's POV 

"You sleep?" I asked once we made it upstairs. 

Inside Jasper's room was a long make shift bed, along with a shelf of books, white walls, and mini army figurines he had on top of his dresser. 

Jasper chuckled at my question. 

"I dont sleep Rebekah. I have a bed so if anyone outside you and Bella comes in, they'll think I'm a regular human,"

"hmmmm...... I see. What-" 

I squealed as Jasper grabbed me from behind and began spinning me around. I laughed causing him to laugh as well. 

"What was that for?" I asked turning to face him as soon as he placed me down. 

"I just love you," He says as I wrap my arms around his neck. 

"I love you more," I tell him kissing him gently on the lips. 

He moaned into the kiss as he pulled me in closer.                     

"YO THE FOOD- oops," Emmett says barging in the room as I yelped and hit my head on Jasper's chest embarrassed. 

"Could you at least knock?" Jasper growled at his brother as he placed his hands up in defense. 

"Sorry, Sorry, food is ready Becks, see ya downstairs," Emmett says before leaving the room. 

I breathed out a sigh of relief as I looked up from Jasper's chest to see him smiling down at me. 

"I'm sorry about my brother, he can be an ass sometimes, " he says causing me to laugh.

"It's Emmett's nature to be Jasper, its fine come on im starving," I tell him grabbing his hand as we raced down the stairs. 

"Everything looks so delicious," I say seeing a plate of Chicken Enchiladas on the table along with a diet coke. 

"I'm glad you think so," Carlisle says with a smile as I went over to the table and Jasper sat with me. 

"Thank you all for this amazing meal, its perfect," I say before taking a bite. 

The mixtures of flavors and spice hit me all at once as I squealed in happiness, causing everyone around me to laugh as I digged in. 

During my last few bites, the door opened to reveal Alice and Paul. I notice him glancing over at me before he looked away quickly. 

"I apologize for earlier, I am a new Born but Alice is helping me with feeding from Animals, I want to speeifically apologize to you Rebekah," He says bowing as I nodded my head with a smile. 

"It's okay, thank you for apologizing it means a lot,"

"You are Paul Lagoon you said correct?" Carlisle confirmed as he nodded his head. 

"Do you know who changed you by any chance? You did say you are a fresh newborn,"

"The last thing I remember was hiking, before seeing a woman with bright orange hair, when I woke  up an overwhelming thirst took over me, I couldn't stop myself for the first week, the need for blood becoming too much. I almost wanted to end myself, until Alice came at the right time,"

"And I've been helping him, and teaching him ever since," She says smiling at him. "Can he join the coven Carlisle? I promise you I'm teaching everything he knows and he will learn to control his thirst especially around the humans,"

Carlisle sighed as he looked over at Esme who gave him a smile. 

"Alright, he is your mate after all, but Alice learn to keep him in check and do not let him be alone with the sisters,"

She began squealing in happiness hugging Paul as I smiled, glad that she finally found her own mate.
