Chapter 29

Rebekah's POV
A little while later Alice and Paul had went somewhere downstairs leaving me and Bella alone. I was laying in her lap when my phone began to ring. I quickly sat up.

"Hello?" I asked placing it on speaker.

"Rebekah, Rebekah, Bella where are you girls?"

"Mom..... we can explain," Bella Started.

"But it's a very long story," I cut in smiling.

"Bella, Rebekah, girls where are you?!" She sounded panicked the second time around.

"Mom.... We're on the phone everything okay?"

"Looks like school doesn't protect its privacy very well," another voice came as my eyes widened.

"J-James," I stuttered out.

"It was just too easy for Victoria to find your previous address," he explains. "I was prepared to wait for you girls, but your mom came home after a very  distressed call from your dad, and it all worked out quite well,"

"Please, please," our mom pleaded.

"DONT TOUCH HER YOU BASTARD!" I shouted causing him to chuckle.

"You got some fire in you Rebekah Swan, I want you and I will have you, you both can still save her, but you'll have to get away from your friends, you both can handle that,"

"Where should we meet you?" Bella asked.

"No, there's no we Bella just me,"

"You BOTH  will meet me at your ballet studio, and I know if you both will bring anyone along," he says before ending the phone call.

Bella and I sighed before nodding our heads. We quickly raced downstairs forgetting both of our phones. We went out to the lobby and saw Paul and Alice chatting with regular  people. Without looking back we quickly went to the front doors and waved a taxi down.

We told him where to drive us as we began holding each other's hands, knowing this might be the last time we get to.

"Bella.... I want you to know that I love you, and I'm truly sorry for everything," I say gripping onto her hand tighter.

"It's okay, I love you too Rebekah, you've been the best sister in the world and is always there for me whenever I needed you, thanks for being my best friend." She says before we came to a stop.

I paid the driver as we both got out of the car holding hands. We both came face to face with death, but I couldn't seem to regret it. If it wasn't for Jasper I would've never found love. We both made sure we still had our pepper spray before heading inside.

With our hands held tightly we opened the doors to take a look around. Everything was dark, and the same as it was when we were little.

"You ready?" I asked putting on a brave face.

Bella nodded her head as she had a brave face on as well.

"Rebekah, Bella, where are you?" Moms voice sounded causing me to let go as we began sprinting.

"MOM, MOM?!" We both yelled running to the direction it came from. 

"Bella, Rebekah girls there you are why you girls in here?" Mom asked as I panted and opened up the doors to reveal a video of when we both are little hiding in a closet with our dress on.

"Mom, we suck," Bella said as I nodded my head.

"You do not suck," laughter was heard as I growled and pushed Bella behind me.

James was shown all around through the mirrors before finally revealing himself.

"That's my favorite part, you both were stubborn as a child weren't you?"

I growled almost animalistic like. I pushed Bella further behind me.

"LEAVE US FOUL CREATURE!"

"Foul?" He laughed. "Now that's a new one, see this is why I want you Rebekah, your so demanding, determined, beautiful and tasty," James said getting up in my face as he sniffed my neck.

"The fear coursing through your veins is driving me insane," he says before grabbing me by the neck and throwing me across the room.

"REBEKAH!" Bella yelled out in fear as my head hit a glass mirror causing it to crack.

"You just stay where you are, im taking good care of your sister," he says walking over to me as he lifted me up by the neck.

I squirmed in his grasp as he placed a finger behind my head to reveal blood, he sniffed his fingers before taking a lick.

"Oh my, it's tastier than I thought it would be," he said eyes growing red.

"So mouthwatering, I just want another taste," he said going to bite my neck, but I was able to reach my pepper spray in time and sprayed him in the eyes.

He dropped me causing  me to gasp.

"BELLA!" I shouted as she ran out of her spot.

We both began to run, but James flew in front of us, causing us to stop in our tracks. He pushed Bella into a wooden stick where she hit her head as he forcefully kicked me into  another set of mirrors.

"BELLA!" I yelled weakly as she was unconscious. "BELLA!" I shouted but began screaming as James stepped on my leg.

"YES! SCREAM FOR ME REBEKAH! SCREAM!" He shouted stepping onto it harder.

He grabbed a fist fold of my hair as sweat and tears ran down my face. He put my face inches from his.

"How does it feel? To be so close to death?" He asks licking the side  of my face where blood was trickling down.

He began leaning down my neck, but before  he could take a bite someone had shoved him aside and away from me. My vision was Blurry but I could see it was Jasper, as Edward attended to Bella. I smiled at him.

"Y-You came," I stuttered out as he smiled.

"Of course I did darling, just wait there I'm getting both of you out of here," he says smiling as I nodded my head.
