It had been three days since the big incident that had took place at the gas station. Dominic who had unfortunately died right as the 4th bullet hit him in his heart. His funeral would be two weeks from now. Rylen had survived his wounds. Nothing major but he needed to take it easy and rest.

Patience had gotten the tapes before the police could. Which they were not looking into the case like that. To them it was a just another thug off the streets. So Tremani decided to take matters into his own hands like he always does.

Meanwhile Patience was with Niya at her apartment. Patience knew this was hard for Niya. Dominic and Niya had known and been with each other since 10th grade. This was definitely heartbreaking.

"Pay?" Niya asked Patience who was sitting on Niya's couch in the living room.

"Yea?" Patience relied

"I never got to tell him. I wanted to surprise him." Niya said crying.

"Tell him what Niya?" Patience said holding Niya's hands that were shaking.

"I-I'm pregnant." Niya said

Patience was so overwhelmed with Dominic and this made matters worse.

"Oh my." Patience said feeling her eyes swell. She promised she wouldn't cry in front of Niya but she couldn't help it. She had known Dominic her whole life practically.

"Does anyone else know?" Patience asked and Niya shook her head.

"I'm scared." Niya said

"Don't be. You got everyone and everything you need. Dominic is always gonna be with you. He left a piece of him." Patience said looking at Niya's flat stomach. Soon to be big.

"Thank you Patience. He loved you so much. I remember when you first had gotten with Monie. He was so mad that you weren't so little anymore. He hated that you were growing up on him." Niya chuckled bringing up her hand to wipe her tears.

"Yea they all was mad." Patience laughed.

"Thank you so much. I truly love and appreciate you." Niya said hugging Patience tightly.

"It ain't nothing really. I know Dominic would want me to help get you through." Patience said

"He would want me to help you Pay." Niya said pulling away.

"Yea." Patience said looking down at her hands trying to not get emotional.

"Let it out." Niya said

"No it's fine." Patience said sniffling.

"Patience you gotta let it out one day." Niya said

"I can't." Patience said

"Why?"

"I should have made him come in. He said he had a weird feeling in his gut all day. I should have taken it more serious." Patience said shaking her head as tears could do nothing but fall from her brown eyes.

"Baby it is not your fault." Niya said bringing Patience to her chest.

"Don't blame yourself for everything that happens in this earth Pay." Niya said brushing her fingers through Patience's hair.

"I just will never understand why people have to die." Patience said

"Some things we won't ever have the answers to." Niya said staring out her apartment window watching the rain fall.
