"Mane cuh gimme my son." I said pushing her out the way.

"WHERE THE FUCK IS MY SON KEARA IM NOT PLAYING." I hollered.

"He in da back." She mumbled.

I walked back there and saw him playing wit his blocks.

"Hey lil man." I said kneeling down to his level.

"Hey daddy." He said hugging me.

"Ready to go?" I asked

"Yea, can I take my blocks?" He asked

"No Keoni leave dem here." Keara said

"Mane Keoni take em." I said standing up and mugging Keara.

"Here get yo some groceries." I said handing Keara 5 hundred dollar bills.

"Nigga dis ain't enough." Sge complained.

"Here den." I said handing her another 5 hundred dollars.

"Thanks" She said as I grabbed Keoni and walked out the door.

Keoni is my 3 year-old son. Me and his dirty ass momma used to fuck around until I found out she was fucking wit everyone in the neighborhood. Bitches be bonkers.

"Daddy what happened to TT Patience? I heard she got hurt." Keoni said as I pulled off.

"Yea she did." I said

"Is she gonna die?" He asked

I turned around to look at him. "Yea lil man she is." I said trying not to cry again.

"Can I go and visit her?" He said

"Yea maybe later." I said

"Ok, also I want sum McDonald's." He said as I laughed.

"Ight." I said as I pulled into the McDonald's drive-thru.

"6 piece nugget happy meal?" I asked

"Yea, with a Hi-c." He said going back to playing on his I-pod.

"Hello what can I get for you today?" The lady said.

"Um a 6 piece happy meal, with apples and barbecue sauce. Wit a Hi-c to drink." I spoke.

"Ok 3.21 at the first window." She said as I pulled to the window.

"Here." I said handing a five.

"Keep the change." I said pulling up and getting the food.

"Here lil mane." I said handing Keoni his food and drink.

"Thanks dada." He said

"Yeen gotta tell me thank you, it's my job." I said

"Can we go see uncle Tremani and Grandma Kay?" He asked chewing his nugget.

"Yea we is." I said stopping at a red light.

We had pulled up to Mama Kay's house.

"C'mon we here." I said grabbing Keoni out his car seat and closing the door.

We walked in the house and was greeted by the fam.

"Hey lil man." Tremani said

"Wassup nigga." Keoni said

"Aye Keoni what I tell you?"

"My bad." He said as Rylen laughed.

"Nigga he a kid let him be." Rylen said

"Naw cuz you be teaching him dis shit." I said shaking my head.

"When mama having the funeral?" I asked

"Um prolly next week or the week after." Tremani said

"Dats gonna be a hard day for all of us." Dominic said

"Yea" I said getting chills just thinking about seeing my sister in a casket.

"Yea, but atleast she up there wit Jordan, and Khalil." Rylen said

"Yea she being taken care of." Tremani said nodded.

"Ight y'all find anybody who might know sum or be involved?" I asked

"Yea, dem bitches Tres, Nisha, Mia know sum most definitely." Tremani said

"The ugly ones that be on the corner the whole year." I said

"Mhm." Rylen said

"Y'all heard from Kk at all?" Dominic asked

"Naw she ain't doin to good. The last memory all of us got wit her is anger." Rylen said

"Expcially yo ass." I pointed at Tremani.

"You dead ass punched her." I said

"Yea I know. I let my anger get the best of me." Tremani said putting his head down.

"But she knows y'all aint mean it. She still always gonna be wit us in spirit." Dominic said.

"Hey baby." Kay said coming to give me a kiss and a hug.

"How you been?" She asked

"Good" I lied

"Why do all of y'all act like you gotta be hard all the time?" She said as we all shrugged our shoulders.

"Keoni you want ice cream?" She asked Keoni who nodded.
