"Is you coming to the cookout?" Pooh asked.

"Yea for a lil bit." I said as I washed the clothes that Patience had over my house. I was gonna give them to Kay.

"Ok I love bro see you later." She said

"I love you to." I said before hanging up the phone.

I looked at the time and saw that it was 3:15 p.m. my ass been doin laundry since 12. Patience would have done had this shit done.

Her ass could also mate socks in 2.0 seconds.

I hurried and started the laundry then I went to make me some food, which was a apple since I ain't go grocery shopping.

I went to clean up a lil and got dressed, and left to go run my aaron's.

"Wassup Al" I said walking into the gas station.

"Wassup Monie. How you been holding up?" He asked

"Fine" I said grabbing a ocean blue lemonade.

"And can I get 50 on pump 10?" I said handing him a 100.

"Ok happy 4th of July." Al said

"You to." I said nodding at him and walking out the door and to my car.

As I pumped the gas I saw Kg, Mill and Jay.

"Hey Monie how you been?" Jay asked as they made they way over.

"Good" I said paying attention to them just incase.

"Happy 4th of July." Mill said.

"You to I heard that y'all helped out Patience." I said

"Yea we tried bro I'm really sorry." Kg said

"Naw on some real shit thanks. She prolly would not have made it dat long without y'all. I don't know how to pay yall back." I said

"Yeen gotta pay us back." The three of them said.

"We just like to know that we was some hero's." Mill said

"Mm well I gotta do some shit, but I'll catch y'all later be safe." I said dappin them up.

"You to bro." They said walking away as I got into my Benz and pulled off.

About a few minutes later I pulled up to my mom's house.

I called her just to make sure she was home, but she did not pick up so I just walked up there and knocked on the door.

"Hollon I'm coming." I heard my auntie say.

She opened the door and screamed.

"OH MONIE WHERE YOU BEEN?" She said pulling me into a tight hug and kissing my cheek.

"Out and about." I said as I walked in and closed the door.

"Gosh baby I'm so sorry about Patience. I never got to meet her, but your sister told me she was very beautiful." She said

"Yea she was." I said

"Your mom is in the kitchen." She said as I walked in the kitchen to find my mom cooking and dancing to old school music.

"Hey momma." I said making her jump and punch me.

"Dang mama." I said laughing.

"Boy you scared the hell outta me. Fuck wrong witchu?" She said holding her chest.

"Where you been since you don't visit no more?" Mama said

"Just out mama." I said

"I'm sorry bout yo girl. I never got to meet her." She said

"Wanna see her?" I asked my mom.

"Duh" She said as I pulled up a picture of Patience.

"Awww she's beautiful Monie. Y'all would make beautiful babies." Momma said smiling.

"Yea we would've." I said putting emphasis on would've, causing her smile to fade.

"Baby she's always gonna be with you, no matter what." She said hugging me.

"So the family supposed to be here later-" My mama tried to say.

"Ma no offense, but ion really fuck wit them and you know that." I said

"So you saying you ain't gonna stay." She said crossing her arms.

"Basically, but you know I love you ma." I said as she shook her head.

"I know you do Monie, but you have a hard time showing it." She says.

"Mama I buy you everything you want." I said

"Boy you buying me things that comes from your wallet doesn't show me you love me, but when it comes from here, is what really matters." She said poking my chest.

"Just stay till dinner." She said

"Ok, but don't expect me to be all happy." I said

"Boy if I tell you to be happy, you finna be happy." Mama said

"Now help me carry out this barbecue." She said as I laughed.
