"Momma can I go to the block party on Saturday?" I said to my mom as we walked through Walmart.

"Yea ion care." She said picking up some chips.

"Thanks ma" I said

"Patience go and get some cereal ok." My mama said

"K" I said walking to go find the cereal.

As I was walking I saw Tremani wit some girl. She was pretty, but not like Mayari was. I walked over to them.

"Um who dis cause you got a girlfriend?" I said rudely.

"Who is dis?" The girl said

"Dis my lil sister Patience." Tremani said

"Nigga don't be telling people my name." I said mugging him.

"Patience this is sum girl I was helping at the gas station and we ran into eachother. Her name is Lala." Tremani said

"Oh my bad." I said feeling bad about how I came over here.

"It's all good." The Lala girl said smiling.

"Well bye and thanks." Lala said walking away and putting a lil twitch in her walk. Thirsty hoe.

"She tryin to hard." I said causing Tremani to chuckle.

"Tell ma I'm finna be in the car." Tremani said. He had to drive mama cause she lost her keys at the house.

"Okay." I nodded before he walked off.

I then got the cereal and went to go and find my mama talking to Monie. Thank God Tremani jus left.

"Here ma." I said handing her the cereal to put on the machine.

"Patience how you been?" Monie said looking dead at me.

"Fine." I mumbled

"Patience quit bein rude. He is yo boyfriend." My mama said.

"Well hello Monie how have you been cause I've been jus jolly." I said happily and sarcastically.

My mama smacked me upside my head.

"I'll beatcho ass now be nice." She said as Monie chuckled.

"Dang ma dat hurt." I said holding my head.

"Aye ma can you-" Tremani said as he saw Monie. I thought he was in da car.

"Waddup Tremani" Monie said

Tremani nodded.

"Ma I was sayin if you could watch Royalty tomorrow." Tremani said looking at Monie and me.

"Yea." My mama said

"You ain't have to walk in here to say that. You could have called." I explained. Tremani gave me a glare.

"Hey can I have your number" This boy said walking up to me.

"Naw she good." Both Tremani and Monie said as they mugged ole boy. He walked away. Bitch ass lil boy. Then again he smart.

"Can't take yo ass anywhere wit out boys walking over." Tremani said

"What can you expect she get her looks from me." My mama said

"You act like dats a good thing." I said

"Girl are you tryin to say dat I'm ugly." My mama said

"Maybe." I snickered and she threw the cereal box at my head.

"Damn lady." I rubbed my head.

"I'mma be in the car. Bye Monie." I said giving him a hug.

"Ight bye call me." He said

"Ok I will." I said walking out to the car. I had trouble remembering where we parked but I remember me putting a cart upside down by the car. I walked over getting in the backseat laying down on the seat.

I was so tired. I felt like falling asleep right now.

A few minutes later mama and Tremani had came to the car to load groceries.

"Patience get out here and help us." She said

"Annoying ass." I mumbled underneath my breath.

"Imma pop you in yo mouth." Ma said as I loaded the bags in the trunk.

"This why I shouldn't have came." I said

"Lil girl you got one mo time. And I promise you hunty I will pop them lips off yo face." Ma said popping my lip with her finger.

I mentally rolled my eyes and finished loading the rest of the bags.

"So how much you like Monie ma?" I said getting in the backseat.

"He is very nice, to me and he seems like he cares foe you a lot Pay Pay." She said as Tremani pulled off.

"Yea sure he do." Tremani said chuckling.

"He do." I said

"Yea ok." Tremani said

8 mins later

I helped my mama go and take the groceries in while Tremani put the food away and then he had to leave.

"So why Tremani don't seem to like Monie?" My mom said

"Ma it's me. He ain't even like when Andy liked me." I said on my phone scrolling through Instagram.

"Well he prolly jus looking out for you Patience." My mama said

"Yea ok." I said as I seen a picture of Daelynn and Dominic which was Tremani's other friend. They was at a party and Mya was photobombing.

"Ma I'm finna head upstairs ok." I said goin upstairs.

I then went and got under my covers and fell asleep.
