I'm gonna be exploring more of the characters feelings in this chapter. Maybe even exploit some secrets.
*This starting point is gonna be shortly after Luisa and Natalia left*
A few minutes after Luisa left, Isabella and Mirabel sat on the stairs.
"I really hope everything goes well tonight, I would like it to be so I know mine will tomorrow" Isabella said
"Don't let yours be based on Luisa's, it's gonna be ok for both of you. I can feel it" Mirabel said, they smiled at each other
"Hey, we're not dumb you know. Are you forgetting that I can hear everything??" Dolores says approaching with Camilo by her side
"What do you mean?" Isabella says nervously
"She means that we know that Luisa's hang out is actually a date" Camilo says
The sisters straighten up slightly before looking at each other "Relax, we won't say anything. I learned my lesson after what happened with tio Bruno's last vision" Dolores said, this made
"Thank you, we appreciate it a lot. I'm in the same boat and don't want anything getting out" Isabella said
"That's what family is for, besides, I can understand you guys" Camilo said, Isabella and Mirabel looked confused
Dolores reached out to her sibling "Camilo is just as special as you and Luisa" she said looking at Isabella.
"Since my room is full of mirrors, I spend my time locked up shifting into different girls. It makes me more feel more comfortable than being just myself" Camilo admits then shifts into a girl as tall as Dolores. The skin tone didn't change. Curly golden hair on a bun. They were dressed in a cream color blouse and a yellow skirt "Until now, Dolores was the only one that knew that I shift into both genders frequently" they said shyly
Isa and Mirabel stood up stunned and hugged their cousin "Thank you for trusting us" Mirabel said
"You know we'll love you the way you choose to be" Isabella added, this made Camilo smile
"They don't want the family to know, at least not yet. Right?" Dolores said
"Right" Camilo said, the sisters nodded understanding the change.
They talked for a while until everyone went to their respective rooms. Mirabel was staring at the ceiling. She couldn't stop thinking about her sister or her cousin. She has learned so many secrets from her family.
"Your head is spinning Mariposa" casita said "There are two secrets hidden in the family. Who knows what else this family is hiding"
Casita sighed "You have no idea" as as he said that, there was a knock on the door that made Mirabel react "It's Alma"
"Come in abuela" She said before sitting up and looking at her grandma sitting beside her. Butterflies instantly turned blue and flew around abuela. Maribel got worried so her butterfly turned a lighter blue.
"How did you know it was me?" She asked
"Casita told me, he knew it was you of course" Mirabel giggled
