"Does that mean you'll not supply us with pastries anymore?" Lisa curiously asked Jennie and the latter nodded. "The work is full time. But it's not final yet. I still need to submit the requirements, interview, etc. But, if they see my resumé, maybe I'll not be accepted because I'm undergraduate," Jennie sadly said.
"Jennie, being undergraduate doesn't mean you're not qualified. That's why they offered the job to you because they believe in you," Lisa encouraged her. "Really? Do you think I can do it?" Jennie asked. "Yeah, you're a strong woman. And I know you, you can do things as along as you put your heart into it. You can even bake without formal training. And, your business is a success," Lisa proudly said.
"Thank you so much, it motivates me," Jennie sincerely said. "But the negative side is, when you accept that job, I will lose my supplier," Lisa said smiling. "Yes but you won't lose a friend," Jennie replied which made Lisa giggle.
"So are you going to accept the job now?" Lisa teased her. "There's still a process," Jennie replied. "You should tell me. I should know first," Lisa jokingly said.
"Chef, you have a delivery," an employee told Lisa when she arrived in the kitchen. "Where does this came from? I like it," she stated while looking at the wine beautifully decorated. Lisa curiously read the note. "Rose," she uttered and her phone rang.
"Yeah," she flatly said when she answered the call. "Hon? Hon, thank you. You answered my call. Did you receive what I send you?" Rosé excitedly asked. "You really don't have to do that," Lisa replied. "I have to. I want to. I won't stop reaching out to you hon. I'll cook your favorite for our dinner later. Hopefully, you'll be home early," Rosé said optimistic. "I'm not sure. You already know how busy we are here," Lisa responded. "Please?" Rosé pleaded. "Okay," Lisa replied. "I will wait for you," Rosé said teary-eyed.
"Where are you going?" Irene curiously asked Lisa. "I am going home. Rosé is waiting for me," Lisa answered. "You both okay now?" Irene asked. "Well," Lisa uttered.
"And what is this? We can drink this tonight," Irene said when she grabbed the bottle of wine Lisa was holding. "Hey, that's mine," Lisa said smiling. "Did you forget? Today is the birthday of one of our chefs. We should celebrate," Irene stated. "Okay, I'll just have one bottle," Lisa stated.
Hours passed and Lisa was already tipsy. "I really need to go," Lisa told Irene. "No, no. Not without dancing with me first," tipsy Irene said and grabbed Lisa. Lisa played along with Irene, dancing together, forgetting the time. The chef who celebrated his birthday captured the moment of Lisa dancing with Irene.
Rosé was using the walker while preparing the table for their dinner. Lisa had not arrived yet so she decided to call. "The subscriber cannot be reached. Please try again later," was what she heard. She tried to call again but her phone notified for an instagram story. She checked it and saw Lisa had fun dancing with Irene. Rosé felt sad and disappointed on what she saw. She then held in her walker and walked away from the table calling her maid.
"Is that your resumé?" Jennie's mom asked when she saw Jennie in front of the laptop. "Just put there that you are a graduate of Hotel and Restaurant Management and that you have many experiences," she added. "No mom, I won't lie," Jennie stated. "I'm just kidding okay? Why so serious?" Her mom said.
"They'll know that I'm qualified because Lisa said..." Jennie uttered but was cut off. "So that's it, she has opinion again," her mom responded. "Mom, she believes in me. It means a lot to me you know," Jennie stated. "Wow! The great girlfriend," her mom sarcastically said. "Mom!" Jennie called out annoyed.
Tzuyu went home late. Her dad saw her arrived. "Tzuyu, where have you been?" He softly asked. "My classmate's house. We just practiced for thesis defense," Tzuyu answered. "You're lying to me. I called your classmate and you're not there," her dad calmly stated.
"Don't you like it? That's makes two of us," Tzuyu mockingly said. "Tzuyu, what are you trying to prove here? Are you getting rebellious?" Her dad asked interestingly.
"What if I say yes? What are you going to do with me dad? Hit me again?" Tzuyu bravely said. "My daughter, I know that I made a big mistake. But, I'm very sorry. Listen to me, don't ruin your life," her dad pleaded. Tzuyu turned her back and left.
"Finally I can hold you like this again," Irene told Lisa while wrapping her arms around Lisa's neck as they danced slowly. "You're drunk, that's why," Lisa replied chuckling. "No, you still love hugging me," Irene said while caressing gently Lisa's face. "Don't go there Irene," Lisa said shaking her head. "Lisa, she doesn't deserve you. There's nothing wrong if we do this," Irene said as she looked at Lisa's lips. Lisa smiled at her.
Rosé arrived at the restaurant in her walker together with their maid. She saw Irene kissed Lisa in the lips and after that Lisa kissed Irene on her neck. Rosé can't take what she saw so she decided to leave while crying.
Lisa was drunk when she arrived home. She saw Rosé sitting on the dining table with the food still there. "Oh, we're having dinner. I'm sorry I forgot," she said as she kissed Rosé in the head. "We had a few drinks because it's the birthday of one of our chefs. Anyway, it doesn't happen all the time," Lisa explained as she moved to the chair in front of Rosé. "It was good, it was good," Lisa added.
"It was good? Yeah I saw it in his stories that you're dancing with Irene," Rosé said while wiping her tears. "And so? It's just harmless fun," Lisa said and chuckled.
"Even the kiss? It's harmless? Be honest to me Lisa. Is there something going on between you and Irene? Tell me the truth," Rosé pleaded.
"So what if we danced? So what if we kissed? So what if we had sex? What's it to you? You even did it, right? So, I can do it too. And now you're crying?" Lisa sarcastically laughed. "It's you who cheated first. And I'm not smart enough to find out. Pathetic right?" Lisa scoffed.
"If only you didn't cheated on me. If only you tied me, locked me in the room so that I can't go out, so that you can talk to me. This probably won't happen to us. It's not that you will look for another and had sex for so many times, and make me look like a fool. I'm so stupid," Lisa said while crying.
"I'm so stupid because I still bring you home when I should have kicked you out. Rosé, I'm so stupid," Lisa said and drank Rosé's wine in the table. "Cheers," she added and left Rosé who was crying.
