Chapter 39

Jennie stopped in her tracks and looked at Rosé. "That's Kai's wife," Jisoo whispered. "What is she doing her," Rosé responded in low voice looking at Jisoo.

"Look at me! I know that you know me," Jennie demanded and slapped Rosé in the face.

"What are you even doing in Lisa's restaurant?!" Jisoo angrily asked. "She acquired me as pastry supplier. Why?!" Jennie answered. "Pastry supplier," Rosé whispered.

"Yes! Because unlike you, your wife is a good person! She sees that I need to earn after Kai died. That's why she gave me work. That's the kind of person your wife is. But you, what have you done? You treated her like a trash when in fact you are the trash!!" Jennie angrily said and left. 

"What the hell Lisa is thinking. Let's get inside and talk to her," Jisoo told Rosé.

"I need to talk to her," Rosé said as she tried to follow Jennie. "Rosé no. Just let her go," Jisoo said preventing Rosé to go.

Rosé insisted and followed Jennie with the help of the walker. 

Jennie was standing in the restaurant's entrance. "Hello? Where are you? Still far?" Jennie called the grab driver. 

"Jennie," Rosé softly said as she went near her. "I'm sorry," Rosé apologetically said. "Sorry? Is that all? Do you think I will forgive you because you already apologized?" Jennie angrily asked.

"I'm not asking you to forgive me. I just wanted you to know that I regret all the mistakes I committed. I shouldn't have flirted with Kai," Rosé said as she started to cry. 

"You should have think about that before you flirted with my husband!!" Jennie said sobbing. "Sorry. Please believe me, I really wanted to end my relationship with him. I'm sorry," Rosé said while crying. "I know, but your sorry is useless. You already did it. You already lied to me and to Lisa! You know, before Kai died, he was still able to regain consciousness. And you know what he asked first? He's asking how are you!!" Jennie bitterly cried. "Did you loved my husband?" Jennie added.

Jisoo was walking fast going inside the restaurant. "Lisa! What is wrong with you?! First, you slept with that whore and then you hired Kai's wife?!" Jisoo angrily confronted Lisa in front of Irene.

"Hey! I don't have to explain anything to you. Understand?!" Lisa answered. "The hell you don't. I was with Rosé and Jennie slapped her," Jisoo reasoned out.

"Did you loved my husband?" Jennie asked while crying. "No," Rosé shook her head while sobbing.

"You don't love him. Why did you get him away from me?" Jennie replied still crying. "He told me that your marriage is on the rocks," Rosé replied softly.

"And you believed him easily? You know even if it's true, you shouldn't have an affair with him! You're married and Lisa loved you so much! So why did you flirted with my husband if you don't have any plans of loving him?" Jennie bitterly said as she cried harder.

"Wait, where is Rosé?" Lisa curiously asked. "She's outside talking to that woman!" Jisoo answered.

Lisa was about to go when Jisoo quickly held her arm. "Hey! Are you doing this on purpose? Will you cheat also to get even with Rosé?" Jisoo angrily asked.

"I never slept with Irene. You think I would do that to get even with her? Huh?! I only made Rosé believe that. Right Irene?" Lisa stated. "It's true," Irene replied.

"How about Jennie?" Jisoo asked. "I asked her to work for us because I wanted to help her. And I felt guilty that it was Rosé who ruined her life!!"Lisa said and went outside.

"So what did you call me earlier?" Irene asked Jisoo. Jisoo looked at Irene and the latter glared at her. Jisoo then followed Lisa.

"I loved Kai so much. He even exchanged me for you. And now you're telling me that you don't loved him? My husband died because of you! Probably I can accept it if you told me that you loved him. So that his death will not be useless because he died for you!" Jennie wept and left Rosé.

"Jennie? Rosé, where is Jennie?" Lisa asked. "She already left," Rosé replied still crying.

"What did you told her?" Lisa asked again. "I apologized," Rosé replied.

"Rosé, when will you ever realize that whatever you do it will not make up for what you did?!!" Lisa yelled. "I know it Lis," Rosé said sobbing.

"So you know it? But why you're doing it always? You saw Jennie right? She loves so much her husband. And you Rosé, you took that away from her! Even if you apologize a million times, you can't fix the situation," Lisa stated. "I'm sorry," Rosé uttered while crying.

"Stop!!! Saying!!! Sorry!!!" Lisa angrily yelled. 

"Look, I know you're sorry. All of us know that you're sorry. But you know what makes it hard for me to forgive you? It's not that you had an affair. It's because you had an affair with a married man. Rosé, I remembered what you said before, on how important family is to you. That's why I fell in love with you more because of that. And here I thought, I have a beautiful woman, I have a perfect woman who prioritizes a family. But after what you did? You ruined not just my family but Jennie's family too. There I realized that you're not the woman I fell in love with," Lisa said shaking her head.

"This is still me," Rosé responded crying. "No. I fell in love with a lie! And whenever I look at you, I don't see the woman I madly fell in love with. I just see a woman who lies to everyone around her!!" Lisa angrily concluded and left Rosé who was crying hard.
