"Lord, thank you for saving my baby. Give me strength so that I can take good care of my baby. And guide me to do what's right. Thank you Lord. Thank you," Rosé was teary-eyed while praying.
Lisa walked slowly towards Rosé's room. She paused at the door post and Rosé saw her. Lisa got inside and went near her.
"So uhm, I've talked to your doctor. She said your baby has stabilized," Lisa softly said. "You didn't have to come," Rosé flatly replied.
"Rosé I had to. I made a promise that I will take care of you and our baby," Lisa stated. "You've made it anyway. You brought me here in the hospital, right? Thanks," Rosé sarcastically said which earned a scoff from Lisa.
"Look, I don't want to stress you out, okay? But Rosé, we need to talk," Lisa said as she sat at the chair beside the bed. "Do we have any problem?" Lisa asked Rosé who's not looking at her.
"Are you mad at me? Or are you mad because me and Jennie are back together? Is that why you're not telling me that you're having palpitations?" Lisa curiously asked. "I didn't tell you because, what for? You're already happy with Jennie. I don't want to bring trouble in your relationship," Rosé responded.
"Rosé, I made a promise to be here for our child. That's why you should tell me everything related to our baby. It's not that you'll just have it on your own. To think that you're even planning on leaving. We could have lost our baby, Rosé. What are you doing?!" Lisa said in disbelief.
"I know. I'm sorry. I just can't think straight since the day we became friends again. I tried to be contented just being friends with you Lisa. But what can I do? I still love you. So I did hoped that you will love and come back to me, that we will be complete again together with our baby. But when I saw you hugging Jennie, I was shattered. How will I face you that I won't be hurt? Lisa tell me. How will I look into your eyes and pretend that we're just friends when all I really want is to put my arms around you and kiss you?" Rosé confessed while crying which made Lisa teary-eyed.
"Rosé, we've already talked about this. I made it clear to you. We're not going back like before. You agreed," Lisa told her. "I know. I'm just stubborn and still hoping for you. I just realized how stupid I am. I'm so stupid because I even begged Jennie to let go of you. I'm so stupid because I put our baby's life at risk. I didn't think properly Lisa because all I wanted is to get you back. I'm so selfish, I didn't think about our baby. But I won't be stupid anymore. I need to think about our baby. I won't put our baby in danger again. So, I'm setting you free," Rosé sincerely said as she cried so hard.
"What?" Lisa was confused. "Don't talk to me. Don't call me and don't show up anymore. I'm ending everything that's between us now. It's over. We're over Lisa," Rosé seriously said as she stopped crying.
Jennie asked in the lobby for Rosé's room and the nurse told her where. She then walked towards the room.
"Rosé, what's this? You're going to take my own baby away from me just because me and Jennie are together again?" Lisa asked in disbelief. "You really don't understand me, right? I can't take seeing you again. I can't take seeing you happy with Jennie. It hurts so bad and it's affecting my baby," Rosé said as she cried so hard.
"Our baby. Our baby, Rosé!" Lisa insisted. "You already left me. And you're just going to do it again," Rosé said weeping.
"Rosé, this is our baby we're talking about. I made a promise that I will take care of our baby. You can't take that away from me. Rosé you're so unfair! It's not my fault..." Lisa was cut-off. "Okay, it's my fault, it's all my fault," Rosé responded.
