The pavement was covered in a thin layer of snow, enough to see that i was pavement but just enough so that it would leave a footprint
The air was chilly and peoples breaths could be seen as they exhaled. The sky was completely white with flakes falling very often
Connor blew onto his hot coffee, taking short sips from time to time
"Hey!" A girls voice called
Connor turned to the side and-
*WHAM*
A snow ball slammed into Connors face, exploding on impact. The little bits of snow were scattered across his face and shoulders.
"Sorry.." Mouse said walking towards Connor
"What the hell??" Connor burst out "I'm just trying to enjoy some coffee, then i get some snow thrown at me"
"Sorry, I wasn't aiming for your face" Mouse laughed
She ran away from Connor to an open field. In the horizon it was decorated with snow covered trees. The ground was almost completely white
Mouse turned around quickly and almost fell down in the process.
"Im gonna get her back." Connor said to himself
He took one last sip of his coffee. It tasted sweet while also tasting bitter, he let the warm liquid flow down to his stomach
He tossed the cup into a nearby trash can and ran towards Mouse
"Get over here!" Connor shouted, picking up a mound of snow and held it over his head
Mouse looked towards Connor and began to run away "You'll never catch me!" She laughed
Mouse chucked a ball at the mound and it broke onto Connors head, completely covering his entire body
"Mouse!" He screamed, patting off some of the snow
Mouse fell to the ground and held her stomach tightly, she started dying of laughter
"It's not funny! I gotta get home before i get sick now" He grunted and offered a hand to Mouse
Mouse took his hand and pulled herself up, she walked in front of Connor while they trailed back to the house
"You look like you could use a bath" Mouse smiled
"you think??" Connor exhaled, he came to a stop
He unlocked the door and made his way inside, shaking the frost off his clothes and body
"I'll be heading to the shower now" Connor said suddenly and dissapeared into the washroom
The water burst out of the shower head, plopping onto Connors body. The warmth from the water took away all the cold that stayed when he was outside
He walked out of the shower, the steam was released from its glass container
"Mouse I'm don-" He paused
Mouse was in the middle of the living room in a pair of white lingerie. He hair was ties into two pigtails that rest at the side of her head
"Mouse... What's this..." He said slowly approaching her
"I have a str-eem, i'm going in my 'demon' for today" She explained to him, pouting
Mouse walked off to her room and she began to shout as per usual.
Connor sat on the couch with his face pressed up against his hands. His face was beginning to turn a bit warm, "i've seen it before, why am K getting emberassed" He tought to himself
Mouse suddenly touched Connors shoulder, it made him leap forwards.
"You wanna touch?" Mouse said, puffing her chest outwards
"Mouse???" Connor gasped, closing his eyes
"I'm kidding, i'm done streaming though, so i'll get changed" Mouse laughed
Connor was left on the couch alone again, he walked over his streaming room and ducked under his desk towards the balcony
He watched the streets as cars rushed by and people held unbrellas over their heads
"Connor!" Mouse was calling for him from the living room
"Connor!?" She called again
He quickly ducked under his desk and made his way over to Mouse who was laying on the couch
"What was it?" Connor asked her
"I just wanted you..." She pouted
"Aww, you could have just asked" Connor smiled, moving closer
Mouse kicked him away and curled up into a ball, she held her cheeks against her face
"Idiot.." She muttered
Connor attempted to move closer again and was successful, he wrapped his arms around Mouse and began to comfort her
"You have fun today?" Connor asked suddenly
"I had lots of fun, thank you for taking me into the snow" Mouse giggled
The lights suddenly flickered off and on, periodically going out for 5 minutes, until it finally shut off for the last time
"Power outage?" Mouse asked
"Mouse likely" Connor replied, standing up
The curtains were luckily open and he could see where he was going. He walked to the nearest and tried the switch
The lights didn't turn on after several tries
"Yup, a blackout, must be the snow" Connor grinned
He dissapeared into the dark hallway, leaving Mouse to herself
"Connor...?" She said shakily
A small lamp turned on at the end of the hallway and Connor was seen standing there with it in his hands
"If we're gonna be in a blackout for a while, might as well play some games" He laughed
Connor rushed over and placed the lap on the wooden coffee table, he then put a deck of uno cards beside the lamp
"Not uno..." Mouse backed away
"Yes uno" Connor said with a sinister grin

"Get skipped, bitch"
"Fuck you!!"

Mouse lay passed out it Connors arms, she layed there with heavy eyes. Connor held her close while checking his phone every so often
"Connor.." Mouse whispered
"Yes, Mouse?" He replied
"I love you..." She muttered
"Love you too" Connor smiled
Connor put down his phone and piled Mouse closer, her face was pressed right up against his chest
The sunlight peaked through the curtains and illuminated Mouse's face. Her face was peaceful and it looked like she didn't have a care in the world
Mouse was completely at peace. Connor blushed a tiny bit
Connor gave mouse a quick peck on her forehead and closed his eyes as well
His restless body began to relax, his eyes forced themselves shut. Soon enough he was out cold
