Connor walksd over to the kitchen, starting to brew some coffee for himself.
The sound of steam rushed through the air as the kettle began to shake gently. It had a slight scent of cocoa and a sort of sweet scent you would smell in an ice cream shop.
He poured the coffee into a nearby mug and began to sip periodically.
A pair of small hands covered his eyes from behind. "Guess who?" A familiar voice called
"Mouse?" He smiled
"That's correct! good job" Mouse giggled and moved her hands away
Connor turned around to see that Mouse was standing on a stepping stool. He was confused how Mouse got her hands up to his face
"What's this?" Connor laughed
Mouse timidly jumped off the stool and crossed her arms.
"Don't judge me," She started, "You know that I'm short!"
Connor placed his mug down on the counter and gave Mouse a tight hug. He kissed her gently on the forehead
"I was thinking of going out today," Connor said, picking his mug back up
"Oh? why do you wanna go out?" Mouse questioned, grabbing a chocolate milk from the fridge
"It's Sakura season," He began, "The sakura trees here are blooming and I thought we should go and see them"
"You want me to come with you??" Mouse squeeled, her eyes seemed to sparkle
Connor finished up his coffee and placed it into the sink where the rest of his dishes were. He proceeded to walk away towards his room
"I'm going to take a shower real quick, we're leaving in 15 minutes" Connor shouted, muffled by the walls
"I'll be ready soon!" Mouse replied
She jumped onto the couch and began to bounce up and down in excitement. She tossed a pillow up in the air and caught it.
"I've never seen Sakura trees before" Mouse thought to herself
The bathroom door suddenly openned and Connor walked out with just a towel on. He looked over to Mouse who's jaw was dropped
"You can go use it now," He smiled and entered his room.
The house became dead silent for a few seconds, the most silent it had been for a while.
"YOU PERVERT!!" Mouse began to scream
"I LIVE WITH YOU, WHY DO YOU JEVWJDBR" She mumbled
Mouse's ears turned a dark shade of red. She began to the shower and turned in on
She let the steaming water run down her body and hit the floor. The feeling of tiredness and fatigue completely left her body
Several minutes later, she exited the shower, dressed in a large pink hoodie, a black skirt and black thigh high socks. Her pink and purple hair was tied into to high pig tails
"Connor! I'm ready!" She knocked on his door
Suddenly the door was suddenly openned and Connor towered over Mouse at the door frame.
"My bad, I was just getting some things since we might be out for a while" He chuckled

Connor wore a plain white T-shirt with navy blue cargo pants. On his back was a small black backpack that held a power bank and his wallet.
"Let's go then!" Mouse called to him, walking to the door
The streets were extra busy today, the sound of rushing cars and horns was overwhelming.
Several men in suits could be seen ever so often on the streets, either on a phone or smoking a cigarette.
"It must be a pretty good season this year," Connor said in awe
"There's so many people today!" Mouse gasped
Finally, the two had reached the park where sakura trees grew. Hibiya Park was a park that held lots of Cherry blossom trees during spring. It was surrounded by buildings which made for a very relaxing feeling
"Connor! Look how many trees there are!" Mouse exclaimed and ran ahead
Unlike the city, the park had been a more quiet place. Instead of the sound of hustling cars, it was people talking to one another
Connor looked around at the open fields, getting a wave of stress washed away from his body
"Connor! the water is so pretty!" Mouse called out
She was now on a small bridge that crossed a small river. It was clear from any dirt and reflected the light blue sky
"It really is pretty!" Connor shouted back, he jogged over to where Mouse was
"Enjoying it so far?" Connor laughed
"It's so beautiful here! You should take me here again next year!" Mouse smiled
A light breeze blew past, making the blazing sun a little less intense. Sakura petals began to fall one by one
At first, Mouse didn't notice, until Connor pointed it out
"Mouse, Look over there" Connor said gently, patting her back
"What's over ther-" Mouse paused
She watched as a flurry of petals came down from the trees, she quickly ran under and tried to catch some of the petals
"Connor look! I caught one!" She cheered
Connor looked over to her and pulled out his phone. He took a photo and pulled it up
A smiled formed on his face, his eyes began to dilate while looking at the photo
The photo was Mouse standing at the center of several falling petals. Her hair and clothes were blown slightly and she had the biggest smile on her face
It was vibrant and clear, the background was a little bit blurry to help Mouse stand out more
"Connor! What's that?" She said, quickly approaching him
She looked at his screen and a grin formed on her face.
"So you like looking at me, huh?" She teased him
"I honestly really do, I love just seeing you have fun and play around, i'm glad that I took you out here" He responded, his face was nothing but pure happiness
"I- Uh- Thank you for taking me with you today" Mouse muttered, walking back to the petals
Connor watched her walk away, he tucked his phone away and caught up with her.
He took her hand and ran ahead, guiding her to a nervy exit
"Let's go! there's so much more I want to show you!" Connor exclaimed
