Listen to your friends. Especially the ones, that listen to you.
Not everyone knows this but the ones that listen can be hurt the most. They are not just your listener they are also other. You may say you are having a bad day but did you think that maybe that they are too. Did you think that maybe they do not want to tell you because you have problems they do not want to add to.
The ones who joke about how they feel are the ones that hold it in. They find it hard to open up to because every time they do someone leaves. Every time they try to explain themselves they get told 'I get it' or 'ok, you can get through this just breath.'
They may not have a bad home life or friend group but they take the pain of everyone else. They are always think about those they help.
Be kind and listen and understand.
