Becoming a so called woman

For  izzyxr0s3 thankyou for being my first request, sorry it took a while. 

Trying a new pov of first person.

Yn pov

I may only be 12 but I have been a part of the team for 5 years. I know I am young but I had been trained by HYDRA so was the best of the best. I became the daughter for all of the avengers. I was the first new member since the beginning of the Avengers, so I only had Nat as a mother figure and one too many father figures.

Anyway, I was sitting on my bed reading when I got this really bad pain in my lower stomach. I drop my book and clutch my stomach, I have no idea what is going on. I then feel something running down my legs. I take the dare to look down and then I scream. Blood. Blood everywhere. I continue screaming as I go to the bathroom in my room.

The team comes running into my room, and then dash to the bathroom. They see me sitting on top of the toilet lid with a red stain coming down my pants. I look up at them with red cheeks and a tear stained face, still holding my lower stomach. They all gave me a small smile but all looked a bit stunned.

yn: what is happening?

I say through the tears that are rolling down my face.

Steve: I ... Uh...

He stuttered confused on how to approach the situation.

Then Nat steps next to me and crouches in front of me in her signature hunched position.

Nat: Yn, honey, you have gotten your period, it is natural and something that was always going to happen. Let's get you cleaned up and then we can talk ok?

She says in a caring tone, with that the boys leave and go who knows where.

Nat turns on the shower and I slowly step in and start to clean while Nat takes my clothes and puts them in the wash. She then gets some weird looking stuff from her room and brings them in. She waits in the bathroom with me and starts to explain what is going on.

Nat: This is something that is going to happen every month now.

Yn: every month?

Nat: unfortunately, but you have all of us to help you.

Yn: why does it hurt?

Nat: Those are cramps, they are normal as well. This happens when you release an egg from your ovaries and the blood is just extra. You will just have to take pain killers and put a heat pack on where it hurts.

With that I step out of the shower and see that she has put something on my underwear.

Yn: what is that?

I ask, nodding towards the underwear.

Nat: That is a pad. It stops the blood going through your underwear and so you won't have blood on your clothes.

With that I changed and it felt weird, like a nappy was on by butt.

Yn: It feels funny.

Nat: I know, but you will get used to it.

With that we go and sit on my bed, Nat has gotten some pain killers for me, and a heat pack along with some chocolate. We settle on my bed and discuss what will happen now.

Nat: Now, a period takes 5-7 days, some days will be better than others, but you just tell us how you feel. Your emotions will be a bit funny as well as you have extra hormones running throughout your body.

Yn: ok.

Nat: now, you have to change your pad around every 2-3 hours, when you are older and more comfortable with this you can try tampons, but that is later.

Yn: So I am not dying?

Nat: of course not honey. You are ok.

With that we stayed in bed for the rest of the day and my 5 father figures came in after a while and watched movies and ate junk food with Nat and I as well.

A/N

If you ever see a woman going through this never tell her to "man up, or suck it up" it has now been shown that the cramps women and girl experience is the same as a heart attack. Along with if you are at school whether you are female or male you should carry around painkillers and sanitary items, there is no control over when a period starts and where. If you see a woman who has had an accident then help them. Do not laugh or judge, it is natural, so help her.  Have human decency.
