The Kid (motherly story)

Peter = 16, yn = 24

You were the same age as Peter when you joined the Avengers however had never been through what he had. You could slowly see that his mental health was slowly decreasing

so you kept an eye on him. One day you decide to confront him about it.

You walked into Peter's room and saw him with his head in his books studying for school.

Yn: Hey Peter, can I talk to you? You aren't in trouble.

Peter: sure yn, what is up?

Yn: are you ok? Mentally. Are you sure you are ok?

Peter: yeah I am fine

Yn: Peter, you can be honest with me.

Peter: I know.

Yn: So I am going to ask you again. Are you ok?

Peter: No.

With that he starts to break down. He burst into tears. Your heart breaks, you grab him and he clings onto you like you are the only thing keeping him alive.

Yn: oh pete....shhh.......it is ok... I am here....you are safe.

You bring Peter over to his bed. And lay him down. Placing his head on your chest and rub random shapes onto his back. You can feel his breath become slow and heavy. He has fallen asleep. You stay with him and make sure he stays asleep.

In the morning you wake up and make breakfast for Peter when he walks down the stairs.

Peter: morning.

Peter said as he walked down the stairs.

Yn: morning pete. Now today, we are going to talk, ok. You are going to be honest. I'm going to listen ok.

Peter:ok

One you finish breakfast, you pack the car and grab Peter. As you were leaving you ran into Tony.

Tony: Where are you going?

Yn: drive. Be back later today.

Tony:ok.

You leave. You arrive at a park that is peaceful and secluded from the world.

Yn: ok Pete. Tell me what is wrong?

Peter: everything. I get bullied at school, I don't feel like I should be part of the avengers. I get nightmares from when I was battling the Vulture and I am just really scared.

By the end he was balling his eyes out.

You brought your little spider into a tight hug.

Yn: hey.. hey... you're ok... I got you.

After calming him down. You spoke again.

Yn: You know that I am always here for you. I can help you no matter where you are. Even if you are at school, I am on a mission. You can always call me. If you get nightmares. You can just come into my room, don't need to knock and get into bed with me. Ok.

Peter: thank you yn. That means the world to me. I felt like I had no one.

Yn: hey everyone at the tower loves you. Do you want them to know?

Peter just shook his head.

Yn: ok. Our little secret then.

Peter smiled and hugged you tight.
