I'm feeling better after what happened yesterday. I had returned home to a non surveillanced house, Robo had assured me completely that the cameras were gone. After getting all of my stuff together, I head out a little before Light to the entrance exams. It'll be nice if I make it in, after all, it is one of the best universities in Japan. As I walk up to the school, I notice some people who went to the same high school as me. They were some of the best in our grade, if Light was here, he'd probably be saying hello to them. I'm not Light. I quickly walk by them and hope they don't recognize me. I don't want to be late and they would just eat up my time. I've never had to take a college entrance exam before so I'm a little nervous. When I'm nervous it gets a little hard to concentrate so I want to be able to get a grip before the exams start. They don't seem to notice me as I walk past them. I'm looking at my feet while walking so I don't notice as I'm about to run into someone. Thump.
"Oh I'm sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going!" I look up to see an absolutely beautiful man standing in front of me. I have very weird tastes in men but damn was this guy a hottie. He looks like he doesn't take care of himself but it's hard to see any blemishes on his face besides his obvious eyebags.
"It's no problem, I don't mind. Although you are staring quite intensely at me, is there something you want to ask?" He turns his whole body to face me. I blush and stutter as I make up an excuse for my staring and then hurry inside. Wow I'm hopeless when it comes to guys.
As I sit down at my seat, I take out my pencil and start turning it in my hands. After looking at every single detail on the pencil, it's finally time for the exams to start. I tap my pencil quietly on my desk as I go through the questions.
Around question three, I notice the person sitting in front of me is the boy from earlier.
"Hey you, student 172! Eyes on your own paper. And 162, sit properly!" The examiner says strictly. I take a quick glance at how he's sitting before looking back at my own paper. It was an odd way to sit. I wonder if there's any reason behind it. The way he was sitting, at least in the brief moment I saw him, looked like he was making more blood flow to his brain by minimizing the blood flow to his feet. More blood flow to the brain could make it easier to think but in my opinion it would just give you headaches so I don't see the positives there. Either way I don't see why there's a problem with the way he was sitting. Then again, anything can seem suspicious during an exam.
The exam finally ends and I'm able to make it out of the school building with high hopes. That boy was so cute, I hope we both get in so I can talk to him more.
Light and I arrive home at the same time. Our mom greets us and wishes us luck on getting in. I head up to my room with Robo and lock my door behind me.
"So how do you think you did?" Robo asks curiously.
"I don't know, the questions were easy but that doesn't mean I got them all right." To be honest, it was easier than I expected. Maybe I thought it would be as different as rocket science but I guess it was just normal school with a hint of difficulty. I think that I'll skip writing names today and just chill. It's not like I'm the only Kira who writes names, being the second one is so much easier. I can't imagine the stress that the real one carries.
