She Is Like The Wind

She rushes past things, reminisces then wanders back.

She is attentive to all but her energy has the naive carelessness of a child.

She has a light heart that is often mistaken for a cold one, as She is always continuing on forward and has no fear of leaving thought pollution behind.

Not to be underestimated, She can be feverishly hot headed and speak with a cool, icy tongue.

She gives the softest kisses to your deepest wounds and smothers you in the warmest embrace on your loneliest nights.

She is afraid of water, but doesn't know She is the essence of oxygen.

You can play with fire, but, Lord knows, She has the power.

Mighty and gentle, She is my mother and She is like the wind.
