It's just a average day except that I'm outside, shopping, Instead of hibernating in my bedroom. Well, I'm only here looking for cute clothes for tonight. My new co-workers invited me to a bar tonight called Ingensteds, which sounds interesting.
With all this mental overwhelming energy at my new half empty apartment, I feel more relaxed just being here at a H&M store. Something about business casual clothing is relaxing.
"Is this cute?" Jessica, my longtime bestfriend asks me. I didn't realize I was staring at a knitted vest sweater for so long. Just spacing out I guess.
She holds up the hanger higher to get my attention. It's a black dressy shirt that has a low v-cut, Very classy looking. "I think it'll go well with my slacks", the tan ones she found some minutes ago. "Oh yes, that's really cute Jess" I smiled at her. A simple nod shows me that she's satisfied with my answer.
We both walked different directions without thinking, giving me time to actually take shopping seriously. I definitely need a new mature outfit for tonight. I wanna look good! What if there's cute gay women there? Gotta be prepared.
Without trying I find a few pieces of clothing that are exactly what I was looking for!
I meet up with Jess again and we are ready to purchase our items.

My friend Jessica decided she wanted to get ready at my apartment.
"What's up with you?" Jess furrowed her eyebrows at me. She seems to be concerned about my spacing out, especially since I'm not paying attention to the ghost related YouTube video I put on tv. I looked down at her since she's doing her makeup on the floor. "Nothing, why?" I replied confusedly. "Well you're not even watching the video and I can tell that you are thinking about something... Is it Laura still? Did she do something to you?" She stood up feeling ready to fight.
A laugh escaped my lips.
"No I'm not thinking about her at the moment but I am thinking of another girl"
I started off. "What! Who?" She smiled. "Lisa Mantler, I think she might be into me". Jess smacked her lips in annoyance but in a kidding matter. "I'm kidding, I'm just feeling nervous for tonight that's all.. Like I have a strange feeling in my gut".
It's a short explanation but enough for her to understand me. She's gonna lose focus if I speak a whole paragraph. And I'm not exactly that talkative sometimes. I'm surprised to even be saying what's on my mind.
"You're gonna have fun, trust me! Don't even think about Laura tonight! It's time to move on" She softly rubbed my shoulder. This made me remember about my great year in Germany. And how much I miss Laura, my ex girlfriend. I'm still having trouble accepting our breakup but it's for the best.
A few soft knocks at my door interrupted me before I could get another word out. Great timing because I was gonna keep talking about my memories, or the way I like to remember them.
"That must be them!" Our two friends/co-workers is who she's referring to. And which means we will head out now. I checked my makeup one last time and stood up from my dining table to greet my friends.
Bar
We arrived at the bar by a ten minute walk. It's not too far from where I live so that's why Maria, Sara, and Jessica decided to meet me at my place. I took out my wallet to show my ID that I'm legal to drink, but the door guy let us all in without checking. Guess our mature And elegant outfits show our age.
Well, I'm only twenty three and so is Jessica. Sara is twenty five and Maria is twenty seven. Quite a range we have here.
