8- Midnight Call

Lina's apartment

I decided to get us something sweet to have afterwards with more coffee or some tea, still undecided about that. We both seem to have a little obsession with those things as well as hot chocolate and matcha lattes. "Almost done" I told her while I place slices of cheddar cheese on top of our fried eggs. She preferred us not to have any meat for this meal (well besides the egg) which I was totally okay with. Instead, I used the pan where I just fried the eggs to warm up a little mountain of spinach. I eat spinach quesadillas at least once a week, it's a little of a obsession, it's also easy to make.

Having Silje leaning on the counter next to me, just watching me cook, gives me so many ideas. I know this sounds crazy but it made me think as if we are a married couple or a couple in general. It's such a cute scenario. 
"Done" I finally finish plating our food and we are now ready to sit. We both grabbed our plates with a glass of orange juice. I made sure to have a pitcher of water at the table already in case she wants water also. And it's alongside the new vase with her flowers in it. Very aesthetic if I may mention.
After her first two bites she finally said something. "This is delicious!". A smile grew across my face. "I'm happy to hear that". We both continued to eat while I put on a show on tv called 'Ghost Adventures'. Gotta show her some of my roots. If it's not already obvious, I'm obsessed with ghost things, I even have a few ghost devices, Jess too has some too that we both share.

"You really enjoy all these ghosts things don't you?" Silje commented while still having her eyes on the tv screen. I'm really happy she's actually watching it. It's just not everyone is nice about these type of things, like I hate it when they constantly have to mention "this show is fake, it's not real", so annoying. But this beautiful lady isn't doing that. This might be stupid but I'm falling even more for that reason too.
"Yes, I really do! Jess and I basically grew up together and for the longest time we've been into this show and other ghost things... We even have some ghost devices. Also, my house back in California was kinda haunted" I chuckled casually. This sounds normal to me since I'm used to these things.
Her eyebrows raised at my words and made her turn to look at me. "Really?". Her next bites of food seem to have slowed down. Then the realization hit that maybe she thinks this place is haunted too. She must be a little scared of those things. "Don't worry, so far no ghosts here". We both chuckled at each other. Her hand covered her mouth while she laughed which I think is adorable. Her character is very delicate and respectful. "Good to hear that" she told me...

We continued to watch the show and have little comments throughout it. We even sat on the couch for another episode while we ate our bakery sweets. Even though she was a little scared about ghosts, she let me close the blinds to make the room a little darker since it's still daylight. I'm here beside her anyways if she gets scared...

Evening

It's almost midnight now. I decided it was finally time to lay down so I put my iPad on the nightstand next to me and turned off my lamp. I laid down just reviewing my day with Silje in my mind. It's been so fun hanging out with her. I'm really glad that she's my friend now and I get to know her. Although sometimes I feel kind of stunned at how quickly we grew close. I knew I felt a connection when I first saw her. I sometimes like to think I might be psychic, especially with the dreams I have at times. Obviously I'm not though but it's a fun thought. I think I just have a good intuition sometimes.

Finally a memory came into mind, a dream I had about a month ago. I wrote it in my journal. It was a dream with a blonde girl, very similar to Silje, I just couldn't see her face that well and her hair was longer. In that dream I walked up to her at some bar, I kid you not! Except she was wearing a tan coat , white pants, and a lavender sweater. But this dream girl was very flirtatious with me. I can't remember much now, I'd have to read it from my journal. The point is, I have no doubt now that dream was about me meeting Silje, and it was a week before I met her. How amazing is that?
