Chapter 5: Infant Island

The next morning I wake up energized even though I should be pooped from yesterday. I turn on the tv in my room and flip through the channels. I see footage of Chloe's house. Luckily they say a man in a mask stopped them, and they didn't reveal my identity. I sat at the foot of my bed and stared at the mask in my arms. Then I looked up as a high pitch noise formed in my head. I covered my ears until it stopped. Then I hear the shobijin say: get to infant island. I tell Master serizawa that I need to go. I put my mask in my pocket and put my swords on my back. I run straight towards the golden gate bridge in record time. When I get there I make sure barely any cars are around. I stand at the edge and leap into the water. After about an hour of swimming I make it to infant island. Once there I walk up on shore and make my way to the center of the island. I see quite a few giant mantises on the way there. At the center, I see the Shobijin standing behing a cross shape with bright specs coming out of each indent. I sit in front of them and wait. "Didn't you say there were more like me?" I ask impatiently. "Wait Logan." They say in unison. "They are here. But they are trying to figure out how to get to the center." After about a half our of waiting I see a boy fly up from a clearing of trees and towards up. He lands and the "jets" in his legs turn off. "Logan, this is Zach. He has the abilites of Gamera." They say. Zach and I shake hands. "Who are you on the inside?" He asks. I lean back. "Well...I guess you could say I'm the savior of humanity." I say as I squint because of the sun being in my eyes. His mouth just drops. "You-You're? I mean...You're Godzilla?" He asks in shock. I nod my head. "You're the reason I wanted to hone my abilites. I had no idea the king of the monsters was actually a shifter." He says exatically. "Well that's me," I reply awkwardly. After about five hours of waiting, almost all of the shifters arrive. I meet Matthew as Battra, Bre as Megaguirus, the same Crystal from chicago as Biollante, Elliot as King Ghidorah, Juan as Rodan, Brendon as Gigan (a green and less cybernetic version of him), Jordan as Zilla, Anthony (my other childhood friend from Japan) as Godzilla, Hunter as the same type of Gigan I fought in chicago, Mason as anguirus, Peter as Baragon, Ryan as Titanosaurus, and Brian. Brian came last and looked directly at me with a sneer. "What are you supposed to be?" I asked. "I'm Megalon." He said quickly. I shrugged it off and look at the shobijin. "We are missing Mothra." They said. Just then a giant shadow flew over us. We all look up and see a giant moth with colorful wings and body. It hovers down a bit and transforms into a human. That human quickly puts on a new pair of clothes as she falls. As soon as she hits the ground, we all stare at her. She stands slowly and it takes me a sec to realize who it is. "Liz!?" I shout. She looks at me. "No fucking way!" She says. You too? And Anthony? This is the best!" She says in excitment. We all sit down to hear what the Shobijin have to say.
