Chapter 14: Telekinesis

Almost as King Ghidorah and his group take off, Mothra arrives with everyone else on her back. "What the hell happened here?" She asks as I transform back into myself. "Is...is that Megalon?" She asks in horror. I nod my head. "Where is everyone else?" She asks. "I didn't kill him, Elliot saved my life as King Ghidorah, he brought Megalon to the sky and killed him." I say. "Everyone else got away." "Where's zach?" She asks. "Oh shit." I realize. I run straight through the flattened city and find Gamera badly injured. Liz transforms into herself and everyone else runs to aid Zach. Anthony hands Liz new clothes, Gamera does something amazing. He puts his front feet back on the ground and concentrates. The ground around us glows golden. "What's going on?" Asks Anthony as he gives me some new clothes. "I have no idea," replies Jordan. "It looks like it's healing him," Mason says. "Since when can a giant turtle shoot jets out of his limbs and use earth magic?" Asks Brendon as he lights a cigar. Gamera's wounds completely heal, then he transforms into Zach. "That was one hell of a trip," Zach chuckles. Liz tosses Zach a new pair of clothes. I run back to the base of what was the empire state building. I find my phone and answer a call from Chloe. "Logan I need help," she screams. "What's wrong?" I ask worriedly. "I'm stuck under rubble." She pants. "Where?" I ask. No answer. I put my phone in my pocket and look at Liz. "Don't you have telekinesis?" She asks. "Yeah but I've never concentrated at this level before." I say as i start to sweat. I walk to the center of the city and meditate. "If something goes wrong, I need you to get everyone out of here," I say to Liz. I put my fists together and close my eyes. I concentrate on clearing my head and lifting up an entire city. I can hear small pieces of rubble start to shake. I concentrate harder. Small pieces start to float into the air. I grit my teeth and focus. Suddenly larger pieces rise into the air, then entire buildings. I open my eyes and see that the area is completely flat and all rubble and buildings are a few hundred feet in the air. "GO!" I shout to everyone who was just trapped under rubble. I stand up and put my arms out to focus on everything in the air. Anthony and Jordan are both on their knees, stunned at what I am doing. I look over my shoulder and see Chloe on the ground. "Brendon, can you go get her?" I ask. "Whatever you say boss." He says as he sprints over to her, picks her up, and brings her back. I look around the rubble that I'm holding in the air. I see tanks, planes, helicopters, and tons of other army vehicles. One helicopter does catch my attention, the broken news helicopter...with another camera facing me. My eyes widen and I drop the entire city. I fall to the ground and just sit there. "What's wrong?" Liz asks. "If that news helicopter's camera works, then the whoever stayed tuned, knows what we look like, and what we can do. "So what?" Anthony asks. "What do you mean so what?! I am just as responsible for flattening this city as Brian is!" I shout. Anthony just shrugs it off. "At least you saved as many people as possible, " he says. That's when it sinks in. I killed people today.
