Chapter 11: Inhuman

We had our laugh, and we headed back to where the bridge used to be. I see Chloe, on the ground where she was when I had told her to go. " Babe, it's okay." I aay as I approach her from behind. Brendon and mothra stay back. Brendon smokes another cigar. Chloe stands up and looks at me. "Are you keeping more things from me?!" She asks angrily. "What are you talking about?" I ask taken aback. "You said you showed me what you can do." She says. I nod in agreement. "Well you didn't fucking tell me that you're the savior of humanity!" She raises her voice. "I don't see the problem here. I didn't want to show you because it would draw more attention. And I don't want all that because I've seen how people have mixed feelings about me." I say calmly. Chloe calms down and she hugs me. "I'm sorry." She says. I just hug her as we walk home. I sit with her in her bedroom until she goes to sleep. Then I exit out of her window and meet up with Brendon, Liz, Anthony, Mason, and Jordan. Who have all shown up. "What are we going to do about Brian? And everyone that has sided with him?" Anthony asks. "What do you mean?" I ask "Well while you, Liz, and Brendon were off fighting Onibaba and Ebirah, Jordan, Mason, and i were off on the coast of Miami pushing back Biollante." Anthony replies. "If they actually start killing people, then we will split up and take them on wherever they are." I say. "I say fuck 'em." Brendon says. "Sooner or later humans won't accept us for who we are. And we'll be hunted." Brendon spits out his cigar. "This is the only thing I appreciate from them" "Uh, you know we're still human right?" I ask Brendon in sarcasm. "Actually I ran some tests in my lab, and it seems that our genetic code has been completely rewritten." Jordan interupts us. "Since when are you super smart?" Anthony asks. "What do you mean? I've always been smart. I just don't use it when I turn into a giant atomic breathing lizard." Jordan says. "Good point," replies anthony. "Can we go to your lab?" Mason asks. "Sure, it is in newark, New Jersey," explains Jordan. Liz transforms into mothra and we fly over to his lab. Liz changes clothes in another room while Jordan shows us his experiments.
