Chapter 12: Kidnapping

Jordan brings up a tablet with different colored markings on the screen. "This is the DNA of Brendon before the change." He said as he shows a basic picture. "And this is his DNA as of yesterday." Jordan says. On screen are giant colored lines that keep moving. "As you can see by these moving parts, our genetic code is constantly upgrading itself." Jordan says. Liz walks back in the room. "What's that supposed to mean?" She asks. "It means that we aren't human....anymore," Jordan replies. We follow Jordan upstiars. "Make yourselves at home." Jordan says. Anthony walks over to a blue massage chair and turns on the TV. I sit on the couch next to Zach and Liz while Mason and Brendan sit on the other couch across the room. Anthony flips through the channels trying to find something interesting while Jordan works in the kitchen. After about ten minutes, Jordan calls us to sit in the kitchen and eat. "Where are your parents?" Mason asks. "You're like what..16?" "They're in the Bahamas for a vacation." Jordan says. "Now eat." We sit down as Jordan serves homemade pork chops. "These are amazing" I say. "Thanks," Jordan replies. I look over in the living room and see a news report. "We are lice from new york. It appears that a young group of kids are standing on top of the Empire state building. And it looks as if they have a kidnapped girl up there. I drop my fork and start towards the television. On the TV, I can clearly see Brain, Crystal, Bre, Hunter, Elliot, Ryan, and Peter all standing up there with a girl. I can't make her out because it only shows the back of her head. Just then I see Brian point towarda the screen. He must mean the helicopter that the news is filming from. I think. Just then Hunter nods his head. His right hand turns into a scythe as he jumps towards the helicopter. Off screen, screaming is heard and everything goes silent. Hunter grabs the camera and jumps back to Brian. Brian looks straight into the camera. "I know you're watching Logan, and I've got a proposal for you. You and your 'team' surrender, and this won't happen to the rest of the city." He says. Brian turns the camera down and shows the wreckage of the helicopter that Hunter just attacked. There are a few flames from the helicopter landing on a car. "You have three hours. And to make sure you get here, I've brought your lady friend." Brain hisses as he pans the camera to Chloe. She's crying and I can see the fear in her eyes. I turn back towards liz. "How fast can you fly?" I ask. "Not as fast as you're wanting me to go right now." Liz says. "I can," Zach says. "You transform into a giant turtle, how the hell can you fly?" I ask. "Guess you'll just have to find out." Zach says. "Then let's go," I say. "Go downstairs and past my lab," Jordan says. Zach and I slide down the railings to get to the bottom faster. We go down to find a huge area. "It's large enough to fit a kaiju down here." I say. "Then I better transform. Once I do, hope omto the back of my shell. You'll be extremely dizzy" Zach says. "What do you me-" I get cut off as he runs forward and starts to transform. After a minute of so, Zach turns into the giant turtle: Gamera. I shrug and charge my strength into my legs. I jump up and climb to the top of his shell. Just then the top opens. Gamera's bottom legs turn into jets. He flies straight up, retracts his head and front limbs, and his front limbs literally turn into rockets. "Oh what the hell?" I scream in shock. Gamera begins to spin so fast that everything is literally a blur.
