Her father kissed her head and broke the hug, "Let me have a look at you."

"Get out! Faster!"

Everyone went out right away. Cheong-san closed the door before the zombies could leave.

"Are you hurt, On-jo?" her dad checked up on her, "Your hands..." he held her two hands that were full of blisters.

"I'll treat it later."

He looked at the others, "And you kids, are you okay?"

They nodded.

"Mr. Nam, we're very thankful that you saved us," Ms. Park bowed.

"I needed to save my daughter after all," he approached the group, "Are you able to run?"

"We have an injured kid with us," she replied.

"Then we need to run now," he pointed at the hill, "If you go straight through th--"

On-jo cut him off, "Dad just explain it later. Zombies are coming!"

Everyone nodded in approval and ran fast before zombies could appear. They got inside the tennis court safely but zombies started to catch up to them. Zombies blocked the exit before they could even get past it.

Soon, the door to the tennis court was opened and zombies started to come at them.

On-jo's father lighted up something which seemed to be a roll of paper and threw it in the zombies' direction. The smell of burnt paper made zombies flaunt over the fire.

Seeing that the door towards the construction site was cleared, others went out of the tennis court.

"Cheong-san, take On-jo with you."

"No," On-jo shook her head. She opened her bag and saw food and 6 recorders. Those were all she had left.

She pressed the button which then release a sound. She threw it far away from them to buy time for escape.

She pulled her dad, "Appa, you're not a hero. Stop doing useless things and survive."

They got out and tied the door so that zombies won't come at them. Others helped Joon-seong after losing his stretcher.

They soon reached the construction site. Zombies already filled the entire place so they had no choice but to run upstairs.

They rested at the space outside the window for a bit.

On-jo squeezed her dad's hand as tears started to build up in her eyes, "What you did back there...I hate it. Please don't do that ever again."

Her dad caressed her hand, "I'm sorry."

"Ouch!" Joon-seong cried when he felt his wound open again. Zombies seemed to smell his blood since they started making loud noises.

Ms. Park redressed his cut again while scolding Mi-jin and Dae-su for fighting.

Ha-ri stood up, "Mi-jin, let's go."

"Where? Why?"

"Let's look for a good spot to jump off. We're the sunbaes after all."

"Sure, whatever," she sulked, "It's not like we get any respect."

On-jo's dad stood up, "I'll go. You two just sit down."

"But--"

"Just stay put. Let the adults do the rest," he stepped on the scaffolding to look through the windows

"I hope no one sacrifices themselves," On-jo said, "It's too hard living for someone when there's nothing you can do for them at all. It's like you have to live an extra heart for them. It's selfish. You can't die even if you don't dare to live."
