Gwi-nam placed his hand on Cheong-san's cheek, his thumb making its way to his eye.
Before he could add pressure and blind him, Nam-ra showed up and held Gwi-nam from the neck.
Her right eye was bloodshot red and the skin surrounding it showed reddish vein marks.
"What the hell?"
Gwi-nam tried to remove her hand but he can't.
"Why didn't you die?" she asked. She pushed him down to the blue covers they used to stop zombies from coming in.
Nam-ra stared at her hand, suprised at how she did that.
"Guys! The door is open!" On-jo shouted.
Everyone went outside and saw a chopper that was about to fly away.
They screamed but their voices were blocked by the sound of the helicopter.
It was too late. It already left.
A loud banging sound was heard from the door. It eventually left after a few seconds.
"He's gone."
"Who?" Su-hyeok asked.
"Gwi-nam. It's his smell. I can hear his breathing."
"Everyone!" Ms. Park clapped to get their attention, "Let's not lose hope. The chopper may come back to check on us so let's use the time to create an 'SOS' symbol."
All of them went different ways to get some stuff to create the sign.
"Come take a look. We did a great job guys!" Gyeong-su cheered.
Ms. Park nodded, "I'm sure they won't miss that."
"We really did a good job."
"It's a little crooked, though," Hyo-ryeong said honestly.
"What does SOS even mean?"
"It's a distress signal," On-jo answered.
"I know that. But what does it stand for?" Dae-su asked.
"It doesn't stand for anything. SOS is just SOS."
"That makes no sense."
"That's just how it is. It doesn't mean anything."
"Then...rescue quickly," he looked up to think of its English term, "Speed of Save?"
On-jo scoffed, "Why ask if you don't believe it?"
"I thought you'd know."
"I do know. Look it up. You'll see I'm right."
Dae-su dusted off his hands, "Whatever. How can I look it up? I don't have a phone."
"What is it?" Ms. Park came to see if they were fighting.
"Well... I asked On-jo what SOS means and she said it doesn't mean anything," he looked at On-jo, "Just say you don't know next time."
"Well, it's true!"
"It 's true," Cheong-san claimed.
"Really?" Dae-su asked, still not believing it.
"Mmhm. She's totally right. Why don't you believe her?"
"Saem, what does SOS mean?" Dae-su turned to Ms. Park.
On-jo stood up, ready to punch him, "That jerk!"
"Forget it. Let him be," he stopped her, "But is it true, though?"
"What is?"
"Are you sure SOS doesn't mean anything? Isn't that supposed to be an acronym?"
"You don't believe me, either?" On-jo looked at him in disbelief.
