3rd Person POV

Among the empty halls of UA with everybody already in their classes, there was a single blonde boy with a black lighting bolt in his hair running through the halls. Disturbing the calm and peacefulness of the hallway, Denki's loud pants and feet hitting the ground as he ran at record speed could be very well heard. A few moments later the boy made it to the door to which he would need to open which he knew would bring all attention toward him. Taking a deep breath in, Denki places his hand on the door handle and opens it. The second he does so, he is met with the stares of 20 pairs on eyes on him. Aizawa quickly clears his throat and proceeds to ask as to why the electric blonde was late this time.

"Kaminari, care to explain your reason for your tardiness today?"

"Oh, I was up all night playing games so I lost track of time and woke up late!" the electricity user answered.

A loud sigh escaped Aizawa's mouth as he motioned him to sit down. From the look on his eyes it was as if he was silently saying 'I don't get paid enough for this.'

Soon enough class ended and everyone ran out the classroom to head to the lunchroom. Denki quickly got up from his seat the second the bell rang and ran over to meet with the rest of his friends.

Denki's POV

"Hey, guys!" I yelled as I made my way over to Sero's desk as he was getting ready to leave.

"Hey bro! You were up playing games again Kami?" Sero asked as he finally got up out of his seat ready to walk to the lunchroom.

"Yeah man, you know me!" I said chuckling a little as I saw Mina, Kiri, and Bakugou start to come over to us.

"Dang Kami, what game kept you up this time?" Mina asked once she came over. The sudden question startled me inside, I wasn't expecting anyone to ask me what game. My mind wandered around searching for an acceptable answer.

"Uh, Mario Cart!" I yelled out a bit louder than I was hoping to.

"Ohhhhh" Mina replied back.

"You extras better shut up and get in line for the food before it gets taken away and you starve!" Bakugou yelled.

"Oh, does someone care for his friends now?" Kiri asked as he had a smug look on his face.

"Shut up, I don't give a damn about what happens with those extras. I just don't want them asking for my food again!" Bakugou snapped back.

"Awwww Kat, don't be like that...I like the sweet side of you..." Kiri said as his expression started to morph into sadness. Once Bakugou saw his face, he starting freaking out, probably not knowing how to handle these type of situations.

"Wait Ei, I'm sorry, please don't cry..." Bakugou reassured him. Suddenly just like a light switch Kiri's expression turned back into happiness and any hint of sadness from before was quickly deposed of. I suddenly understand what he was tried to do, so sneaky...A few minutes later we sat down at our usual table, and before I could even take a bite of my food Sero asked a question.

"Uh, Denki I know its lunch time and all, but could you please charge my phone? It's about to die and I really need it for something."

Oh, just charging another phone...At least it's not anymore questions about last night, I don't think I can deal with that. I mumbled out a sure and took Sero's phone so I could start charging. I made sure the phone was plugged in properly before putting the other end into my mouth. Slowly I started to let out my electricity as I watched the screen of the phone start to signify that it is being charged. Still wanting to be able to have enough time for lunch I increased the voltage a little bit, as the pain started to kick in spreading throughout my body. It felt as if a thousand needles were being pierced into my skin followed by more and more every second. The immense pain made me want to stop charging the phone, but I remembered that I couldn't. If I did then I would let Sero down. My friend down, I would be useless then. Sero has been a great friend to me, how could I not just do this for him. Trying to make the pain go away a little bit, I closed my eyes hoping the pain wouldn't be able to be felt in the depths of the darkness. Instead I was brought with painful memories of what happened last night.
