Chapter 8

3rd Person Pov 

Back at the dorms at the time of the incident 

Most of Class 1A was in the common room all taking turns playing Mario cart and smash bros. Mina and Sero were going against each other for the semifinals. Then suddenly all their phones pinged with a notification from the group chat. Everyone else was immersed in the match since it was close, while Bakugou took out his phone since he already guaranteed himself a spot in the finals. 

The second he read the name of who sent the text, anger came over him and he immediately closed out of it and offed his phone, not even bothering to read it. 

From the side, Uraraka watched and saw Bakugou's expression change and how he aggressively put his phone away. She took her phone out to see what the text was to cause that reaction, and as her eyes skimmed over the text silent tears started to roll down her cheek. The round ended with Sero winning, and everyone was cheering and excited for the final match between Sero and Bakugou. Everyone knows Bakugou doesn't accept loss ,and Sero's whole life is playing video games. Midoryia looked over and saw Uraraka crying and rushed over to her asking what happened. Suddenly everyones' attention was on both of them and lots of worried faces emerged from Uraraka crying. 

"Kaminari...the group chat..." she whispered and continued crying. 

"WHO THE HELL CARES ABOUT HIM OR IF HE TEXTS, HE'S A TRAITOR AND DOESN'T DESERVE ANY SYMPATHY" Bakugou yelled. 

"BAKUGOU MAYBE YOU SHOULDN'T ALWAYS JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS. KAMINARI IS HUMAN TO AND THEY HAVE LIMITS ESPECIALLY WHEN WE START TREATING THEM TERRIBLY BECAUSE OF A CLAIM THAT HASN'T EVEN BEEN PROVEN EXPECT FOR A MERE THOUGHT THAT MONOMA BLURTED OUT!" Uraraka screamed back. Everyone flinched at seeing this side of her, they have never heard her ever raise her voice before. 

The other open up their phones and start reading the text, including Bakugou. A few minutes later, all the happiness from the room was drained and everyone was left in shock. It looked like some were about to join Uraraka in crying. The Bakusquad were all on the verge of tears, while Bakugou was silent while processing it. 

"Kami...he tried to kill himself..." Mina whispered. 

The whole class realized the grave mistake they have done, and they were only able to realize to when it's already become too late and the truth had to be shoved into their faces by the one person they all hurt. But Denki was completely right, Class 1A was in the wrong. All of them for not noticing the hell they put him through. All the pranks they played on him, all the bullying, physical and verbal abuse, just to cause him pain. 

"We are the worst classmates ever...we trusted Monoma more than our classmate and friend..." Asui stated. 

"No, we don't even deserve to be called his friend after what just happened" Jirou spoke out. 

"This..this doesn't make sense. Why would he do this..." Bakugou whispered. All attention was focused on him, and it wasn't in the good way. Almost all of the class was either still crying or glaring at him as if they wanted to strangle him. 

"Bakugou this is all your fault. You pushed Kaminari to the edge and yes we all are to blame for this but it you were the main person who kept pushing terrible words and actions at him along with leading all the pranks we pulled on him. Everyone has different limits, even I thought about killing myself when you told me to take a swan dive off the roof in middle school. Kaminari went through more with the whole class betraying him, and that too, he really trusted us so he would've been heartbroken as soon as we go against him as soon as a schoolmate says something terrible. He could only take so much..." Midoriya said.
