"Oh man, don't remind me of how it ended." Bulkhead said.

"Me neither, Bulkhead was running so fast that it almost made me throw up my last week's lunch." Miko said with a puff of her cheeks.

"I still have the dent of when Ratchet threw his wrench at me." Bulkhead said with a small wince.

"So now you admit that I was right about you encouraging Miko in her craziness?" Arcee questions him.

"Okay. I admit that you have a point there with the whole desert thing. But you're wrong about that other thing, it's not like I'm encouraging her on her crazy activities. I know when to stop her and when to straighten her out without always breathing down her neck. She respects me like an ordinary human adult. Like a girl with her father." Bulkhead said and that was a bad move as Miko seemed to bristle like an angry cat.

"What did you just say?" She asked through her teeth.

"I said you respected me like a human girl respects other humans, like a dad." Bulkhead repeated this time with confusion in his voice.

"Oh no, you just didn't." Miko said as she was getting ticked off.

"She's gonna blow." Emily said as she watched from the sidelines.

"So we better get cover." Raf said meekly while hiding behind Emily.

"Too late for that I'm afraid." She said with a sigh.

"Let's get one thing clear. It's one thing that you're always pushing me. But that doesn't make you my dad or my big brother. I don't need another person to boss me around, I'm my own boss." Miko told Bulkhead who was pretty much confused.

"Why are you yelling at me like that?" He asked in confusion.

"Are you serious? Don't you hear yourself when you talk? You say our relationship is like the one of a dad and his little girl. Been there, done that. And I'm not going through that again. I have a real biological father and a host faster. I don't need a third father who thinks he can tell me what to do." Miko said with an annoyed look.

"I just said that we both respected each other. Like a father and his kid." Bulkhead said and that made Miko a bit more mad.

"See? Right there? It's bad enough you're always telling me how to study, how to improve my grades. Now you're gonna define our relationship? Oh, and that's not even the worst thing you ever did and still do. You also tell me how I should live my life." Miko rant out in annoyance.

"Miko, all I'm trying to do is help you do something with your life. Have a proper education, that's all." Bulkhead said as he didn't want an argument to start.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah I know the song. You sound like a broken disk saying the same thing over and over again. How about you try and change your music once in a while?" Miko said with a huff.

"Now hold on there, young lady." Bulkhead started but Miko stopped him before he could continue.

"Don't young lady me, Bulk. You're not my dad or my mom or my host parents. You're just my guardian, that's all." Miko said as she gave her guardian a warning look.

"And as your guardian, I have to make sure you stay safe and don't do something you might regret." Bulkhead said.

"Thanks for the tip, dad, now do us both a favour and stop acting like it. I'm really tired of it." Miko said with her voice dripping with sarcasm.
