Jungkook walks up to the television and turns it on, kneeling down to browse their small selection of movies.
She can tell he's trying to distract himself from the pain, but she can't hide her relief when she realizes he is doing this instead of drinking himself into a stupor.
Deep down, he still wants to make sure she's happy, and he knows that drinking himself to death would break her.
He still loves her, after everything.
She smiles fondly at her boyfriend and sits down next to him, seeing two movies in his hands.
"You already know which one I'd want to watch," she says with a small laugh. "And I also know that you'd want to watch the other one."
Though he doesn't respond to her, she sees the smallest of smiles form on his perfect lips before he puts in the movie that she wants to watch.
She can't help but grin, though he doesn't look at her to see her reaction.
It is such a small gesture, putting in the movie he knows she would rather watch.
But it's something.
She watches as he moves to the couch, plopping down in his usual spot before picking up the remote and playing the movie.
She moves to sit next to him, fighting the urge to intertwine her fingers with his.
"I'm so, so sorry, my love..." she whispers, though it goes unheard as he watches the movie, holding back his tears.
