'My daddy was a gangster, what the fuck that make me?'

Pearl grabbed her handbag before she walked outside Mama G house and towards Mohameed's G Wagon. She waved at her granny while Mohameed opened the door for her.

She got in the car, he shut the door and went to the driver's seat before starting the car. Their journey started as Rod Wave's 'By Your Side' played quietly in the background.

One of the lyrics hit Pearl deeply. 'My daddy was a gangster, what the fuck that make me?' If she was pregnant, and she kept the baby, what would she tell it about Blanco?

That he was a Kingpin?

A murderer and sociopath?

Thoughts swarmed around her brain while she stared out the window, watching the cars pass by. Her heart raced slightly at the thought of actually being pregnant, she was scared.

She was only 18.

Of course she knew that teenage girls got pregnant quite often. It wasn't awfully uncommon anymore but Pearl still felt a shrivel of fear in her heart. Whether it was anxiety or just pure fear, she was unsure, but it wasn't a great feeling.

"You're overthinking again." Mohammed broke the silence, pulling her out of her thoughts.

"I can't help it, this is a huge deal." Pearl sighed, rubbing her temples while Mohameed pulled up to the hospital parking lot.

"It is but you aren't alone, you have so many people around you." Mohameed attempted to encourage her.

He killed the engine before turning to face her with a solemn face. The anxiety was painted all over her face, he worried about her but he'd never say it outloud.

"I may have people around me but I would be this child's only parent. They aren't even born yet and they already don't have a father." Pearl tried to explain but as she continued to talk, tears ran down her face and eventually she was sobbing.

"I-I'm s-so scared." She admitted which broke Mohameed's heart.

Pushing away his boundary, Mohameed undid his seatbelt and leaned over to Pearl before pulling her into a tight hug. She sobbed on his shoulder for a good 10 minutes, he simply rubbed her back as she cried. Filling her mind with reassurance and calming her down.
